Great value for the money
I bought these for my husband for Christmas and here is his review. The headphones are very good quality for the price paid, very impressive overall however there is 1 minor issue with the sound distribution. I like to listen to brass band / classical music, while the lower and bass sounds are amazing there is something missing in the treble and upper ranges in clarity. (a bit like hearing a sausage go bang while cooking but missing the sizzling) These were to replace a very old set of Razer Carcharias which they do perfectly, they are light comfortable and you hardly notice them on.ProsThe battery life is very good and the bluetooth does make them easy to use without a cable getting caught everywhere and tangled when not in use.Easy to set up and to connect to multiple devices at the touch of a button. The external noise dampning is very good i dont hear people sitting next to me and the volume does not have to be very high if on at all, its quiet scary i wonder if i shout at people if im wearing them i cant hear myself speak.ConsThe bluetooth seems to stutter when browsing something and listening this could be down to the phone im not sure though it didnt do this with other bluetooth devices. The microphone while being so far from your mouth makes it a bit quiet when using on a phone callThe size is a good fit and comfortable on the ears, the first few times used they were a bit hard but soon got comfortable now i can fall asleep listening to music and not feel them on my head. For my husband this is high praise indeed.

Excellent. Bass is a bit heavy for my taste (but can fix that using equaliser app on your phone)
Sound quality:Excellent. Bass is a bit heavy for my taste, but my equalizer app sorted that out. Bass is round and punchy. Good mids and clear crisp highs.Unbelievably good considering they are Bluetooth and at a low price.Build quality:Good. Super lightweight and very comfortable. Due to their lightweight nature, they may need gentler treatment than some other headphones and might not like being bashed about.Battery life:Superb... gets me through a week of commuting before recharge.Connectivity:Simple Bluetooth connection and even simpler with NFC tap-to-pair. Bluetooth range is standard - no audio dropouts at short range.Superb value at 40 pounds. Wouldn't have felt cheated if they had cost 100... highly recommended.EDIT: Just tried a friend of mine's Bluedio bluetooth headphones. It was interesting to compare, as I had very nearly bought those instead. The Bluedio headphones feel HORRIBLY uncomfortable compared to these Avantree ones. The Bluedios feel way too tight and have an unnatural/uncomfortable feel about the fit to them - furthermore, the plastic feels cheap and brittle, like it could break or crack if handled a little carelessly. The Avantree headphones feel super light and comfortable and you can forget you've got them on. I will say the Bluedios do sound very good though.... very VERY good sound for the price (my friend got them for about £20) - whereas the Avantrees have a warm/soft sound (bit heavy on the bass though), the Bluedios are very bright and clear. Both nice sounds, just a bit different - depends on your taste. However, for comfort and build quality, I am VERY glad I went with the Avantree, even though they were double the price of the Bluedio.

Good headphones with one fatal flaw.
These headphones are very suprising for the price, they are very impressive but for one flaw.I like the styling of these headphones, they certainly don't look like cheap headphones. They are light and fit over my ears well with no pinching, overall I find them to be very comfortable. The sound quality is very good for the price but it isn't perfect. If you're being picky the treble and upper mids are restrained and lacking the sparkle more premium products may offer. If you haven't become accustomed to these things however I think you would be happy with the sound quality. Now for the flaw, and depending upon you usage case it could be a deal breaker. These headphones leak noise through the casing so no matter how well they're fitted anyone reasonably close to you will be able to hear the words of what you're listening to clearly, they are almost as bad as open back headphones in this respect.I would only be able to recommend these to people who are only using them in private and don't need to worry about disturbing people or inconsiderate people who would like to upgrade from listening to music on their phone at the top of the bus.If Avantree could fix this problem I'd recommend them to anyone and give them the full five stars.
