I had something die in my car. I think it's a mouse, because I found droppings, and signs of nesting in my cabin air filter. I took apart everything I felt comfortable taking apart, but I couldn't find it. I tried using the chlorine dioxide fogger, but just a few minutes after using it, and airing out the car, you could smell the horrid foul smell again. The next day, using this, I ran it for half an hour, and then aired it out for half an hour. Then I turned the heat on full blast with recirculation on, and ran it for another half hour. I aired it out for a couple of hours, and the smell was wiped out. Unf after the car got hot the next day I could still smell the slightest tinge of rot. So then I did 2 more cycles of half hour with the heat of full, with airing it out in between. After another day in the sun, absolutely no noticeable smell, and I'm not getting nauseated after sitting in it, which is really nice. I can't speak to it's longevity, but it's definitely doing its job so far. Certainly a lot cheaper than what the dealer wanted to look for it, and way cheaper than using my comprehensive coverage to take care of it. The other reviews are certainly right about the smell though. I've smelled ozone in the past, doing experiments, but I guess it's a lot different in such a concentrated form. The chemical, almost chlorine, smell is very strong, and long lasting.

I own a couple rental properties. Smoking is not permitted in the homes, and I make this clear to all prospective tenants, but I live four hours away, and many smokers like to ignore the rules. Two women lived in one home for a year and when they left one admitted to me that her roommate smoked in the house all the time—and not just cigarettes! I then used the unit in each bedroom… and repeated it in the garage. Then I let the house sit for a few hours with all the windows open. When I returned things were back to normal. No smoke/weed smell and no ozone smell. What a relief! The next prospective tenant to view the house loved it and had no clue there had been prior issues with any smells. They still live there more than a year later. This product is now on sale at around $28, which is amazing because I paid more than $100 for it. It was worth every penny. I keep it on a shelf in my garage and hope I never need it again. I have since recommend it to others who have had order issues in cars and homes.

Bought this because my car smelled atrocious and I was at my wits end. My car has seen some heavy use with traveling, have been taking my dog in it for the last 3 years, using it for work etc. I did a deep clean on all surfaces and the floor of the car and the stench didn't relent. Used products like odorant and oxiclean, still stinky.Broke down and ordered this. Came on the same day and I used it for about 20 minutes in the center of the car, all doors closed. After it was finished? I let it air out for the rest of the hour and boom, SMELL GONE. Keep in mind the ozone smell can be pretty overpowering, I’d ride with your windows down if you can for the next drive afterwards. No regrets about this purchase, it was simple and straightforward to use. It seemed like the timer didn’t turn off when it was supposed to but that could have been due to my error, easily fixed by just unplugging the unit.Going to use it at my mom’s house that has a heavy smoke smell!!!

This is a mighty little machine!! I’m allergic to mold/mold, musty spores set me off and make it hard to breathe. I placed it in my 700 ft basement and use it regularly for air maintenance, mold spores.Using this really does eliminate odors and neutralizes the air and has made a big difference in the time I can work downstairs in this space. It gives me a peace of mind on top of everything.It has old timey, dial timer that I rather TRUST, over a computer chip. I can set the dial timer or put it in “hold mode” so it stays on until I shut it off. I have it plugged in my the entry door so I can just pull the plug if needed so I don’t have to go inside and breathe the air (as the room needs to air out).I put this in my basement and run it when I am out working or going into town so it is not toxic if I am in the house. I turn on the timer, it shuts itself off, and it’s that simple.Well built, quality item, and would buy again!
