These things would pull a dinosaurs wisdom teeth
Having made a complete mess of the simple task of removing a wheel of my car, I attempted many different ways of removing a over tighten and rounded wheel bolt.When swearing and name calling failed I bought a set of these and after 2 minutes my wheel was final off.Great product, simple to use and incredibly effectiveI'll never weld a nut on to a wheel stud again.

Crumbled like pastry…but then!
UPDATE: after hammering several different sized sockets onto the bolt I had wore the edges down enough to fit the next size down in the extractor kit, lo and behold it worked! From 1 star to 4 shame the kit it now a socket down but at least the problem I bought it for has been solvedBeen tussling with a seized bolt on my van for so long the bolt had become rounded. I purchased these based on all the reviews and assumed the bolts days were numbered. Straight out the box and onto the bolt, 20 seconds later I thought I’d snapped the head clean off but no, it was the socket itself. I should add that I didn’t use an impact wrench, just my own strength and that was enough to break the socket in two.

Brilliant. Simple as that!
Absolutely brilliant. Removed a rounded wheel nut from an X5 f15 when all else failed. A great addition to the tools

Would Not Recommend
As one of the more mid-range options for bolt extraction, especially for this price point and with the emphasis on high impact strength I found that the 16mm extraction tool had catastrophically broken on a stuck bolt. You can see by the image it had suffered a clean break and there is no twisting/buckling of the tool itself, just a shear break along what I imagine to be a very cheap and non-impact metal. I cannot recommend this product to anyone else.

Worked perfectly
Worked perfectly to remove a rounded-off 17mm retaining bolt on brake caliper (plus a little heat) - couldn't be happier....

Save your money
Did not work on my wheel nuts !! I triedTo k pick the correct size onto said nut however the nut remained virtually unmarked yet the socket is damaged ?? Waste of money
