Purchased for my 7 year old son for Christmas as he is starting to show an interest in electronics and I wanted a safe way to let him experiment with circuits. The set has a lot of variety to keep him entertained - over 100 different circuit combinations. The set comes with a colourful booklet of diagrams that are clearly numbered and colour coded so they can be copied to create a circuit. There are also questions in the booklet to challenge kids as they get to grips with creating circuits.It is so clear to use and so much fun that my five year old has also sat down on several occasions and created circuits (his particular favourite being the radio).

This is really good educational toy. I bought for my 20 year old son who has quite severe autism as he is fascinated with switches and cause and effect things. Well recommended and very good value

Bought this for my 6yr old as a little project we can do together. The guide age is 8, not sure why. If your child likes lego and can follow those instructions, then this will be straight forward.Really cool and great fun.As a parent, it's incredibly fulfilling to see your child complete the guide book and then innovate and make their own circuits/designs...make a few.mistakes and correct themselves based on what they learnt.I know absolutely nothing about electronics, however it is incredibly simple.to follow and work out, especially if you do a few of the more sophisticated projects, so easy to help your child and teach them.I would say this is suitable for any 5-6 year old if you help them at the start and they are used to building things using an instruction manual (lego, mekano...)

Bought for my son’s 7th birthday, it was his favourite present. He can build simple circuits now, and we enjoyed spending time together making the more complex circuits. He particularly loves the music/doorbell which plays happy birthday, and the flying disc. Given 4 stars instead of 5 simply because after about 50 times of shooting the flying disc into the air, the plastic broke slightly and now it shoots across the room at an angle. Great joy and entertainment for an inquisitive child and it provides an educational twist to a birthday present.

A great instructional toy that made you think.The ultimate enjoyment came when the finished product was Switched on— and it worked. Requires an understanding mind or one that is prepared to work things out ( possibly with a little adult help)!

Really happy with this product it clips together very easily using snap fasteners. The whole set is very sturdy and the instruction book has loads of different set ups you can do. My kids will learn while having fun and so will I!

Bought for my boys 6th bday and he still plays with it. He loves making different things and making the light or fan work.Good for little brains
