What a fabulous piece of kit. If you want a perfectly shaped beard or moustache you need this. I ordered this for my husband. He always seems to struggle to get an even well shaped beard. He was sceptical at first. Once he had used it he wouldn't be without it now. Also 2 sons use it too.It is beautifully presented in a neat folder with instructions plus a drawstring bag to keep it in. Perfect gift for any bearded man.

My boyfriend asked for this for his birthday and absolutely LOVES it. He has quite a grizzly beard that appears to grow inches overnight, so this is fantastic for keeping it in shape until he fancies a trip to the barbers. He says the template is easy to use and means you can do general shaping, sideburns and even level out stray wiry hairs etc. In fact, my only complaint is that I now get constant photo updates of his newest self-pruned beard shape! Great product and service, would recommend.

This product helped me get my beard perfectly shaped with more symmetrical and sharp edges/corners. It's a Professional's tool.On the downside, I'd really appreciate it if there was a leaflet included with more beard shapes and instructions on how exactly to use those sets of 3 holes to check symmetry. No documentation is included at all for amateurs and that's a shame.The Seller (Mizado UK) was also a little annoying. They sent me 4 messages within one week, asking me to review this product. I had to actually tell them to stop messaging me.

First of all, I shave using a shavette or straight razor. In effect, the rating is conditioned by that. I would not change shaving method to be able to use the tool, I would go ahead and give it a one out of five, or zero if possible.Frankly, you cannot be too precise with this tool and you still have to have an eye for detail, that's because when you get close to it the shaving is not ideal, if not actually impossible. Hence, I give it a three as it is being marketed quite as a highly efficient tool, but in reality it can be impractical. I also give a three, ergo a slightly above average consideration, because it is made of a strong and nice looking material.The best way to use it is to put shaving soap on your face then use the tool to get an idea of the beard shape you are after and then put it over the soap and remove it with the tool. Then, you would shave the area which still has soap on. That works good when you need to reshape your beard lines, but if you are set and can shave well without the need of such tool, then it becomes useless. That means it is not a tool to use for each and every shave.Hence, 3 out of 5.

Not really being used to having a beard I had let it get a bit wild to the point I looked like a mountain man.. this little, very inexpensive tool has made me look civilised again, real easy to use I was exceptionally pleased with the end result... as was my wife Haha. Def recommend to try you wont be disappointed.

Very handy little contraption. Perfect size and very easily manipulated to get a perfectly symmetrical beard trim. Also used to even out sideburns. Bought as part of a gift and the recipient was thrilled! Would definitely recommend as it is quite sturdy and can be thrown into a wash bag and brought with you wherever you go. Really delighted! Thank you!

Arrived quickly. On first impressions I thought the Beard Mate looked small but once I'd used it i realised this wasnt the case. Really easy to use for neck line. OK for cheeks/sideburns but because it's not transparent never 100% sure I've lined it up right. Would recommend for anyone like me who can't line up a beard by themselves!
