The Inbetweeners Series 1-3 boxset follows the often misguided footsteps of four friends, Will, Simon, Neil and Jay, as they try to navigate their way through sixth form, with their hormones running riot. None of our heroes are exceptional, all are distinctly average: Will is constantly trying to raise their social standing, Simon is a hopeless romantic who is obsessed with schoolmate Carli, Neil is sometimes so slow it’s more like owning a pet than having a friend, and Jay is a borderline sex pest constantly bragging about imaginary sexual experiences. DVD Extras Series One: • Audio commentary by the writers and cast • Video diaries from all four cast members• The making of documentary • Meet the cast (what the boys are really like) • Deleted scenes Series Two: • Over an hour of special features including a look behind the scenes • The field trip featurette• Cast and writers commentaries • Bloopers, deleted scenes and cast video diaries Series Three:• Behind the Scenes Interviews • Cast Interviews • Deleted Scenes • Bloopers • Video Diaries • Commentaries

One of the best recent comedies!
OK, so I bought this because it was on offer and my friends had been berating me for not seeing this - figuring I could easily pass it on to someone if I didn't like it. To be honest I thought it might be a little 'young' for me.Well, I can tell you it will not be going anywhere - I have watched the lot, apart from the extras, and I LOVE it! Yes it is puerile, as you would expect being the lives of four schoolboys, yes it is gross at times but they are so hilariously funny, and you really grow to love the four boys, despite all their obvious faults! Their relationships with one another grow over the three series and all their stomach-achingly funny exploits. Sometimes you cringe with them, sometimes your jaw drops at their ineptitude; but you are always rooting for them. Once their parents are introduced to things more, you see why each one is like he is. Their poor efforts to get girlfriends are so cringeworthy, yet you still hope they do!I am gutted that I have watched them all now, cannot wait for a new series and shall be watching it all again. Excellent acting from everyone involved. If you have a sense of humour that allows you to laugh at the gross things that happen to people, you will just love this. If you are somewhat strait laced I would try something 'nicer' like My Family.

A Masterpiece in comedic writing and acting
The Inbetweeners is without a doubt one of the greatest comedy shows ever produced, pipped to the post by the great Fawlty Towers, but only just. The writing is superb, the acting and comic timing by the 4 young actors playing the title roles is sublime. If you are a fan, then this box set is for you.

Clunge!
As a collector of dvd & bluray my collection was incomplete without this so i just had to have it. Anyone who dont laugh their ass off within minutes of watching has to be without a soul. Fantastic.

Adolescent fun
I still love it, but it's definitely not as funny as I remember it from my youth. Maybe it wasn't the humour we enjoyed back then, but the adolescent crudity of the original series. Or perhaps it's just not aged well. Anyway, I watched all the episodes again and found at least half of them well worth the effort.

Embarrassingly Hilarious.
I came across the TV series of the above late one night on one of the digital channels here in Australia.I was immediately taken by the squirmingly good performances of the young but talented cast.As I missed a few episodes along the way I felt compelled to add this to my ever growing collection of box sets of shows I get sick of trying to keep track of on standard TV channels.I was so glad I did. These boys are hilarious and the antics created for them by very clever writers each and every week never cease to keep me in stitches of laughter.Buying all 3 series together was great as you could follow the boys through all the seasons and understand some of the background of the characters which was helpful but not necessary as all episodes are stand alone situations. The cast work brilliantly together and the interplay of the characters is a joy to watch. If you like your humour rude crude and politically correct (the frisbee hitting the disabled girl in the park ) this is the series for you.
