Have used Ronseal Smooth Finish as well as this product for similar jobs and generally I think the Polyfilla is going to be better for most jobs. It goes on similarly well but sands down a lot easier. I had to take a power sander to the Ronseal whereas I can polish this down by hand with fine sandpaper.
