Much smaller than I had expected although I must admit that I have never used Tailors chalk before so I did not really know what to expect all though I did think it would be much larger. It states that it has a built in sharpener but I can not figure out how to use it. The chalk in a wedge rather than individual sticks. Works ok

Does the job with basic markings.
Good chalk, the dust does get on your sewing machine so you have to regularly clean it. It isn't hugely precise because of the width of the chalk so a pencil might be better if you need exact measurements, but works well for basic markings.

Ok but have to press really hard for it to make a mark on the fabric. Could do with being softer or more 'chalky'.
