Absolutely LOVE IT!
This lamp is a decent size and is as bright as any other lamp but it is super cute and super high quality! BUY IT! You won’t regret it!

It looks great. But please note it has a custom bulb.
It has a hard-wired light source. In the description, it says "E12 USA Standard Base That Is Compatible With a Variety Of Incandescent, Halogen or LED Light Bulbs (5W max, Included)." That isn't true. I bought this assuming the description is accurate so that I could replace the bulb with a smart bulb. It is disappointing. However, if you don't want that functionality, it is a wonderful little quirky lamp.* * *UPDATE: Customer service was very helpful. They changed the description to signify that the bulb isn't standardized and issued me a partial refund for their error. Since the lamp is wonderful (but has a fixed brightness), I've changed my review to match the corrected description.

It’s okay.
The inside of the banana peel is painted sloppy. It’s has several runs all over the gold.And the the light unit was hanging out of the body. Who isn’t nervous about shabby electrical work? And the actual banana glass lamp seems larger than in the photos.Kinda weird looking. I think I received a return. My luck!At least I can’t slip on this banana which would complete this purchase.

Damaged
Very disappointed. There are two black permanent scuff marks/scratches on the top side of it. It looks like it was pre-owned by someone else previously. Considering the expensive price, I’d expect no scratches. Gold coating was also smudged. Poor condition.
