I bought this building board when I bought the magnetic tiles for my grandson. I felt he would need something flat and strong to build on and I also felt that we might be able to move the things which he had built on it. I was not disappointed and glad I bought the tiles and the base together. He has had so many hours of fun with both the board and the tiles and I honestly wonder how we managed without them. They are a constant on our living room floor and we all play with the tiles and the board. I would highly recommend that you buy both together for maximum fun.

Great. Grandson loves his playmags. Quite pricey but I would say they are worth the money ifvyou can afford them.

Used as base plate for floor. It's only magnetic on the top not underneath but means I can move little ones creations without breaking it.

My 2 year old son received a set of magnet blocks recently and he loves them, but we've had some problems with sturdiness and moving objects around. We also hated to waste valuable pieces creating the bottom of the structure. This board has solved those problems by giving us a base to build on, meaning he's much better able to create buildings that don't collapse easily. If your child is obsessed with creating houses and buildings like mine, this is a must-have.

The media could not be loaded. So it's made a bit different to usual magnet tiles of clear plastic with magnets inside enabling attraction from all sides, this board is essentially a square piece of metal one side (bottom) and a dark plastic square on the other side (top side). Problem is the tiles only stick to the metal part underneath, not the top plastic side nor the edges! My son got quite frustrated with it to be honest, a very poor design!So if your happy with it only being magnetic on one side and that would make it upside down then go ahead!

Excellent. Must buy if your kid loves the magnetic squares. These make the building much more stable and easy to do. Kid loves them.
