Great product that's grosser than you could of imagined.
I want to give a detailed honest review to help others make the choice best for them, without giving TMI! I will be as delicate as I possibly can. These work. I use oral irrigators, electric toothbrushes and so on. But I was surprised just how much..... err..... 'stuff' it gets off, and yeah it's grosser than I could of imagined. I didn't realise just how much, uhhh.... 'tongue garden' there actually was. All I'm saying is, be prepared for it. It isn't pleasant and you might be shocked at your own body. You get used to it though.Without my latte in the morning, I find it pretty hard to function during the day. But as coffee drinkers will know, no matter how much you clean your teeth, there is always that , ...errr 'aromatic' layer left on the tongue that comes back to haunt you – and others – a few hours later. This scrapes the vast majority off.I also love raw onions, garlic and other strong foods. As those who love raw onions and garlic will know, that stuff stays on your breath for days. Do tongue scrapers get rid of raw onion breath smells? Well, not completely. My research into it pretty much found that part of the raw onion breath smell comes from the allium compounds that get absorbed into your body, so basically you just gotta ride that part out until your body processes it. But, for the rest of it which does attach itself to your tongue, this does work! Normally for me, raw onions hang around my personage for a couple of days. Using this tongue scraper reduces that to about half a day to 24 hours. If I have me a dinner with raw onions the night before, it's gone the next morning if I use the tongue scraper before I go to bed and in the morning. Now the downsides. It's easy to get carried away with this and hurt yourself with it. It is sharp and I have irritated my tongue with over use. I use it gently now, and try not to use it every day.

High Quality
Very sturdy and lightweight as to be expected. The grips are also a nice touch.

Good value.
So far it seems robust and does exactly what is intended. The pressure in the tongue doesn't need to be great at all. I recommend it since it leaves your mouth feeling really fresh after brushing.

Be gentle!
For the first week that you use this scraper, BE GENTLE! Your tongue is not used to the friction and too much pressure can cause bleeding. After 5-6 uses, my tongue toughened up and was used to the sensation and I can apply as much pressure as needed.I use it every night after brushing my teeth. I think it is particularly useful for getting rid of coffee breath and removing red wine from the tongue. Morning breath isn't completely gone but it has reduced a lot. Great value at less than £2, I expect it will last me for years because it is sturdy, it doesn't wear out like a toothbrush and it can be disinfected by leaving it in a cup of boiling water. I might buy another one to keep in my travel toiletries bag.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
I bought this as I had a horrible itch on my tongue. It worked for the item but I wouldn’t say it did anything else.

How a tongue scraper should be priced, but this one will rip your tongue to shreds.
£1.99 is how an item like this should be priced, not £8 like some competitors who rely on people with no sense of value. It is what it says on the tin - a tongue scraper. The grip is nice and it does the job. So, why 3 stars? It's made of quite a sharp and hard plastic, which hurts like hell after the first use or two. Really the scraper head should be made from a slightly softer rubbery material; or at least more care should go into smoothing it out a bit to make it more tongue friendly.Really it's a 50p item priced at £2, rather than a £2 item priced at £2. Just a shame the £2 ones are all priced at £8.EDIT: I've now downgraded this product to 1 star because it's absolutely unusable. After one more use it was clear this thing is just too sharp. A fine product if you want to rip your tongue to shreds.
