I hate gardening. I mean no, ever since I was a kid getting told to do the weeding, I've HATED gardening. Growing up I used to buy cheap nasty plastic strimmers, the sort that would cost thirty to fifty quid or something, but then this year I pushed the funding a bit to get this beauty and it does the job SO well.I managed to do my lawn within about half an hour of getting this delivered, just using this strimmer. If it was any other kind of cheap, own brand, or nasty knock off, it would have taken me DAYS just messing about adjusting cord length and stopping and starting every five minutes just to get the strimmer sorted. This? Once assembled, plug it in, go. No stopping. Beautiful. Best strimmer I've ever had, and I've had at least ten by now over the years. The cord is really strong stuff, my lawn is...sorry, was overgrown, like if a cat went in there, you'd have a job spotting it. This thing absolutely did the job. You can put this through it's paces and the cord will still be good for a long time. As for the power cable? It was a bit short for my lawn, but I didn't need more than another 10-15 metres of an extension cable to get to the back of the garden. This strimmer is really easy to use and if you HATED strimming before like I did, you're gonna LOVE doing the strimming with this.Moral of story...buy quality stuff, not cheap stuff.

very good bit of kit, i cut down a really over grown back garden with this, the blade attachment made light work of quite established saplings with a decent thickness of a couple of inches. just do not stand on the wrong side of this thing it can kick a lot of things into your face AND WEAR A SET OF GOOGLES OR YOU WILL LOSE AN EYE NO JOKE! ear defenders too, i did at one point get a big splinter stab into my leg too straight through my trousers. be warned you do need full protective clothing

1000W....is more than adequate...definitely not intended for a small garden where it would destroy anything it touched,pots,trellis,shrubs,garden ornaments instantly...if you can fit a conventional bump line holder that will be an improvement over the twisted single use lines which wear quite quickly and tend to tear rather than cut...you can use sections of 2.5mm square line with a granny knot in the middle in the supplied head rather than the expensive twisted things...although i'm sure that would void the warranty....so overall as powerful as combustion strimmer,lighter in weight no petrol and oil,no fiddly priming and choke settings but this is made for total destruction it is not nuanced in the leastif nature is getting the better of you this Bosch is brutal and will tame it.....gloves and eye protection absolutely mandatory!

WOW this is a powerful strimmer I was a bit unsure as its electric, with having to make sure you don't cut the cable plus the fact you need a good length extension lead. But that aside and the fact I've not used the blade yet only the strimmer I am very impressed.The motor unit part of the strimmer is a fair weight but you can move the strap clip up and down to balance it out better.Yep like I say very impressed I totally recommend.

Great strimmer and it’s good that you can have the blade for tough weeds and the line for long grass etc. This is very strong and sturdy strimmer and it comes with a harness as it is quite heavy. Spare lines are in the handle for storage. Useful videos are on the internet..

This is an awesome bit of kit. Have for a couple of years now to keep down a big lawn area, that is in need of landscaping and is uneven for lawnmowing. No frustrating petrol version and will never go back to a petrol strimmer again.Great tool and recommend.

I wasn't sure how good this would be based on other reviews online. But I was very impressed, it was fairly easy to assemble but the instructions aren't the best. It cuts through brambles with ease. For the thicker stems you have to go over them a few times especially when using the line. It's well designed and very durable. It is heavier than I expected but having the shoulder strap makes it easier.

Wow this is a beast of a machine. Cut through an overgrown garden in no time only a small bit left to do and I’ve only used one cutting wire so far.It’s heavy but the strap takes most of the weight.
