Does what it says on the tin.
Does what it says on the tin. This is strong stuff, but similar in application to polyfilla. I had. to use 40 grit to sand it down, and often the concrete would sand down easier than this filler. It works perfectly for our purpose, which was to repair an external garden retaining wall. I'd definitely use again, and be careful about the high spots because it's gnarley to sand.

For cracks and gaps
Very effective for filling awkward spaces inside and out. I find it very easy to apply the soft paste and smooth it over, and it dries quickly. The handy-sized tub is easy to access and there's no wastage.

Does what it says on the tub
Decent sized pot for the cost. I bought icing piping bags to put it in to fill into the deeper crevices of the wall. The fluidity is spot on, not too runny but easy to apply. Dries quickly, but you are able to smooth down and tidy it just be aware that you have to work quickly. I do agree with other reviews that the seal/lid inside the tub is pretty pointless as mine was all folded and not even covering it. However I just took out what I needed and kept putting the lid back on, but it doesn't effect the actual filler so I guess it's a comment for the manufacturers as opposed to how this product works.

Quick and efficient filler
This stuff dries fast and hard, just perfect for filling in cracks and holes in a window frame that had been treated for some rot issues. I used a couple of wallpaper scrapers and my fingers to apply and smooth this out then sanded it smooth before painting. A piece I dropped stuck to a vertical painted surface and in a couple of hours was hard to remove so this stuff bonds well and is pretty tough. Several tips to make life easier.1) keep some water and a cloth handy to keep cleaning fingers and applicator as this hepls get a smooth finish.2) When the tub is open try to keep as littleof the surface uncovered as possible as it will dry very quickly and become unusable.3) Ignore the useless piece of plastic that covers the filler and use some clingfilm to cover the lot and replace it each time it is used, this will help keep it from drying. All in all excellent stuff, persevere if you find it a bit fiddly, I have never used anything I would consider better for smallish jobs.

Reasonable but not great!
It is very thick and hard to spread.I could not achieve a smooth finish despite using wet smoothing knifes and wet plastic ones. This is a one time use product as upon opening it I discovered that the plastic sealing sheet was in the bottom on one side! I will have to use REAL SMOOTH FILLER over this once it dries!!!MUST TRY A LOT HARDER RONSEAL CORRECT!

Pretty good for exterior
I've used my bucket of filler for pointing few tile joints on my doorstep.Presentation wise , I find it a little weird to use a quite large bucket just to fill it little more than half . The plastic membrane I had to scoop it out from the filler and really I don't think is very useful until you open the tin , anyway .Quality is very good and generally I'm happy with Ronseal products . It's easy to apply , I used my own metal spatula just because I'm used to work with it and it was more practical for the job .About drying time , it really depends on the weather condition but to be on the safe side I gave it about 12 hours until I sand it down as some of the joints were feeling a bit soft when pushing against .Sanding down is easy and I could paint them with no issues . I paint mine in red and a second coat was not necessary but I choose to for peace of mind .After 2 months of stepping on it and periodic washing up, the filler is keeping good and I couldn't see any sign of cracking or deterioration.

Excellent product
I've used this filler a number of times when preparing fascia boards etc for painting. It fills rotten areas and sets very quickly and very hard. You've got to be quick as it sets in a couple of minutes, so best to apply in small quantities
