Easy set up, very effective
This was for my home office, I've attached an ACER 23" touch monitor VESA 100x100. The engineering in this is probably more than I need - it is _very_ sturdy, but it certainly offers me the flexibility in movement that I wanted, sitting happily whether lifted up high or swung down low, and tucks away to the wall when I want to move it out of the way (approx. 6.5" protrusion from wall to front of monitor, which is fine for me).Installing it was incredibly simple, I couldn't believe how quickly I had it all up and running, the most tricky bit was drilling the holes vertically in the wall - which is not really that hard.

Excellent stand.
Excellent stand that is adjustable to almost any angle. It took us a while to work out exactly where to fix it to the wall, which is important if there is really only one position in which you want to use the monitor and space is limited.

Great product
I have to say this arm is absolutely fantastic; it has a full range of motion and does everything you might want it to do: up, down, left, right, tilts, swivels, the works. It's also solid and when you move the tv into a position it stays there. It really is an extremely good product and I think well worth the money paid for it. However, on looking on the Ergotron website it did say that it was compatible with my new Samsung tv (UE40KU6400) and it wasnt, as the bolts supplied simply werent long enough. I dont necessarily feel this is Ergotrons fault as Samsung have probably changed the fittings on the tv but for anyone considering buying a Samsung you should also pick up some M5 bolts 42-45mm. For those who have found this out after purchasing the wall mount as well then Screwfix has some at a very reasonable price!

Costs an arm but doesn't need a leg to stand on!
I got this for my 27" computer monitor so I could turn it around and move it to watch from the bed. I also got it so the monitor stand wouldn't take up have the desk! Its great. This is heavy duty, the steel is thick and heavy you can feel the quality of the arm is very high. Make sure your wall can take the strain! Its big too, optimus prime wouldn't look bad with these guns. I got it because it has the longest reach and able to hold heavy/big screens. Check their site for details. It easily takes the weight but doesn't overcompensate. When you move it to a low or high angle the springs make it light work and it will stay in position even with a light screen.Movements are smooth and subtle adjustments are easy. I can rotate, lift, drop and tilt all with one finger. It suits all my needs there are only two minor details I'd change.1. The price is a bit steep I get its high quality but £170 is a little high. Maybe £120-£130?2. The cable tidy mechanism is a lacking a little, the plastic to hide them is a bit cheap compared to every thing else and the cables dangle from the monitor to the second part of the arm.All in all I highly recommend this!

Recommended for standing at a desk
Use for standing at my desk with a 27 in monitor. Works perfectly, good build quality.I don't need to use the included arm extension in my setup.
