The media could not be loaded. This book was an amazing purchase. It has thought me how to spin yarn using different methods that I have been unable to learn from my grandmother. Now I can use both my dogs fur and hair from my granddaughter to spin yarn that I hope to eventually knit into a hat or some gloves. The authors descriptions are extremely clear but I wish they would go into the more esoteric and occult aspects of using human hair in yarn but alas it was still a good and insightful read. 9.5/10

I enjoyed reading this book on spinning fibers. As a novice, I like to read as much as possible before attempting to spin wool for knitting. To begin spinning, it will take some getting used to all the new vocabulary that I have learned. Good description of S and Z spins and how to ply yarn. Seemed daunting to ply at first but I now understand how to do it.

I enjoyed this simple written book. It has a lot of information to help beginners to understand the art of spinning yarn.

I've been spinning for several years; but, I still found this book to be very helpful. It gave me a few ideas for tweaking my technique. I'm very glad I bought it. Thank you, Zera!
