FIRST CLASS SERVICE AND FIRST CLASS PRODUCT !!!!
I mistakenly purchased these plugs thinking that they were the ones with the separate insert. Well I am extremely happy with my mistake. These connectors are a dream. The seller is a dream as well. I mistakenly made a comment that I had asked for the ones with the inserts and he pointed out that I read the advertisement wrong. I DID and he still refunded my purchase price against my strong opposition. SO STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS NOW. I am 63 and consider myself very tech savy and very mechanically inclined but I could not get other connectors to work. These are so simple. Just strip the wire, slide the individual wires, in order, through each whole, crimp next and then cut off the excess. Do not cut off excess until you have crimped. BUY THIS PRODUCT....IT IS GREAT!!Also I bought a new crimp tool because I could not get them to crimp. The tool is made by Gardner Bender GB Model GMC 1145D. Worked perfect on my first connector. You can feel it snap down. Big difference from my older one I bought at Home Depot. I bought the GB tool at another local ACE Hardware store.

awesome
100% success. I normally get a few bad connectors in a box. Every one of these work perfect.

The ends make it easy to avoid mistakes, saving time, materials, and money on the job
I love these RJ45 ends, mainly because they took the guesswork out of knowing if I had the pairs properly aligned the pins before crimping. It's still a fiddly thing to get the wires of the cable aligned right before inserting them, and they still want to "fold over" and go to the wrong pins, but once you have them fed, you can easily see with these ends if a mistake is made, and correct it before crimping, unlike standard ends where you don't know until it's too late - and then you've wasted an end and time. Once you have the wires properly fed thru on these ends, it's quick to crimp 'em down and trim off the wire ends. I had some minor problems here, as I couldn't get the ends of the wire cut flush to the ends of the connectors; I assume there is some kind of tool for this, but I didn't have it. I could get 'em close, but not perfect, leaving about 1/32 of an inch behind. I ended up "rolling" this over with my wire cutters, and it worked ok. I might need to buy a different crimper or something.

The easiest type of CAT connector you will find. Believe me USE THIS ONE!
I am not a professional but I installed eleven cameras in my house after learning how and buying all the needed tools. At the time of installation I did not see or have this type of connector. The difference in this type is it makes the crimping process fool proof. Once you line up your color arrangement and push it "through" the connector you can easily look at it and confirm your arrangement and then push it as far back as possible, cut at the proper length, and crimp. It took me one test crimp to understand the difference between this type and the standard type and I nailed it on the very next try. It seems fool proof to me. When I used the other type I lost count on how many tries it took me before I was crimping successful. Believe me it was very many. One shot with this one and I nailed it. Make sure you get the CAT5 or CAT6 depending on which one you are using.

Great connectors - Used by first time user and a group of high school students
Normally I don't write reviews but some of the negative reviews prompted me to share my experience with the connectors. I bought cat#5e and cat6 connectors from the same company. I gave them and a crimping tool to a high school class. It was a computer class but the wiring was horrible in the class. 3 days later there were new ends on the cables in the room. The wiring was a mix of cat5 and cat6. The students had no issues using these ends. They then had enough fun that they volunteered to rewire the class next to theirs. It went perfectly as well.

WARNING!!! Unreliable with the pass thru klein tool
KLEIN PASS THRU CUT OFF TOOL GREAT THESE ITBEBE CONNECTORS BAD. Just buy the more expensive PLATINUM TOOLS brand CONNECTORS they cost twice as much and are worth 10x. When these dont work will cause big trouble, overtime, frustration. I learned after using this other brand. I used these to install 4 k reolink security cameras. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE OKAY AFTER SEEING THE 1000 GOOD REVIEW RATING. BUT 50% 4k cameras would not connect first try. So I replaced these connectors both ends and they still did not connect, SO SUCCESS RATE LESS THAN 25%. I also thought one camera was malfunctioning. No it was all the bad connectors. I am using the best pass thru klein tool that has the built in pass thru wire cutter. I even thought I might have a cable had problems because other reviewer thought this possible. No way, if you are having problems its going to be your connectors. Its always going to the connectors that dont contact the wire. They can pass the testers as connected but wont carry the full bandwith your device requires. The 4 k cameras will not even come on.Also these connectors are little loose in the klein tool. The pins are more narrow than the more expensive platinum tool connectors. The platinum are very tight into the klein tool. The gold pins are also wider. The pass thru type are the best. Also if you have a very sharp wire cutter that you trim the wire right after you line them up then the 23 gauge wires slide right into the connector without having to strip the tips. I was having a problem until I sharpened up my wire cutter. Dull wire cutter bends the tips of the 23 g wire. I am using exterior Fastcat cat 6 cable with 23 gauge 100% copper. I dont even bother with cat6 tester because you can clearly confirm see B wire config using pass thru. ALSO IF USING REOLINK CAMERA SYSTEM ONLY THE B WIRE CONFIG WILL WORK. SO TAPE OVER THE A WIRE CONFIG ON THE KELIN TOOL otherwise you could MAKE THAT MISTAKE.
