FINALLY!!!
I changed from an i phone BACK to an Android. My car is a 2006 Mercury, so it was hard to find a lighter charger that would work in the cigarette lighter. After looking for days, I held my breath and ordered THIS one. Works great!!! Highly recommend.

Worked for 2 years before disintegrating
The most amazing thing happened to this charger. One would imagine that being made to stay in an automobile that it would be able to withstand direct sun/heat.Wrong - After 2 years this thing just smushed in my hands one day when I reached for it. Apparently the red part had dry-rotted.Ayway. I guess you get what you pay for and I did get my $$$$ worth out of those 2 years

I actually a different brand bought at walmart, It was not long enough for my car jump box D/C power outlet. This one works great !!! Awesome !!! I love using this car charger
The first one I got was a gift for my car and works wonders, I decided to finally order a 2nd one so when I travel I don't have to take the full black one out of my car. So I can easily distinguish which is which. Charging is well, from using it in my car and others it fits in the cigarette lighter spot well.
