Love this thing we have been looking to get one to make food last longer in the fridge and freezer. We opted for this one, no issues so far comes with some bags and I have ordered more. You put your food int he bag, line the bag up with the guides, snap the door shut and press the button. Easy as that. The new bags I bought are just roll out, you cut to lengh and the cutter on the top works perfect, then you seal one side put in your food and either seal or vac and seal. Highly recommend

The vacuum sealer was a little hard for me to use I'm still having difficulty. I don't know if it's because it's a cheaper brand or what. The foam part of my vacuum sealer had popped, so I tried to still use it and it didn't work. So I ordered some more and I'm praying that it'll work because it will save me a lot of money, especially having gastric bypass surgery I waste a lot of food and I'm tired of doing it. I want to see if it's going to work again once I place the new foam inside the sealer, hopefully it does. But if not I might have to buy a more expensive one. Because the few times that I did use, it worked nicely and I loved it. However I didn't have it that long and I'm irked that it's not working properly. So I mean if you're trying to save money, I'll say try it out. But sometimes cheap it's not always the answer.

This is a awesome little Vacuum sealer. With the small but usable design we have saved hundreds in groceries. Don't let the small size fool you it can easily seal full gallon size or larger bags. The free sample bags are good quality good thickness and the right size for starting out. This little sealer can easily seal bags of different thickness with no problem with its multi range of heat levels. Perfect size to fit in a kitchen drawer!!!

I had previously owned 2 different vacuum sealers. One lasted several years but, I always had difficulty sealing moist or wet foods bags wouldn't seal completely or even when I thought they were sealed I would after freezing find them open and they would have freezer-frost. This machine takes out the 'guess work' with the availability of buttons thereby allowing me to choose the type of food that I'm vacuuming and sealing. It's fool-proof! Sometimes, with multiple bags to seal I found that my hands would get tired by holding the device "down". Now I can lock the machine down and allow it to vacuum and seal. Recently I made cinnamon rolls not wanting to "crush" the rolls I used the intermittent setting allowing me to go as far as I needed with the vacuum and then seal. Great machine.

Great little machine with excellent power. Easy to use and instructions clear. The sealing capability is good so long as you line it up properly. After a few tries I got it mostly correct. Don’t get bigger bags, you’ll end up cutting them down. Good for the price.

Doesn't really vacuum when pressing the vacuum seal button. But if you can get all of the air out of you bags, it does do a good seal. All and all this is good for sealing bags but not vacuum sealing. I haven't used it for trying to seal lids but it does come with a suction cup for that process. I can't verify if it works well or not.

I had to call customer service because I couldn't get the orange Vac Pulse button to vacuum. I spoke to Ian, a very helpful gentleman. He told me I had to press the orange button and hold it down to make it vacuum. I was just hitting the button and releasing. It does not say that in the instructions so I am noting it here. So hold the button don until it has vacuumed enough air out of the bag. I love my Megawise Vac & Seal appliance.Char
