They were on sale, thought I’d try them out and buy them for stockings stuffers this next year. Yes I shop a year in advance. But I had to try them out early, they’re exactly as advertised and super fun to use. I keep sneaking them out of the gift drawer lol, good thing you can charge them!

Plasma cool lighter.
Works like they should. The plasma lighter is just crazy. I charged it four months ago and I can still go and push the button and have the plasma fire off. I’m saying the battery holds a charge a long time for the plasma.

Highly recommended for the price.
The butane lighter is not super awesome hard to light no matter fuel level. The electric works well. Both solid and water proof.

There isn't a lot you can say about lighters... either they light or they don't. The butane one ships empty which makes sense... so if you are expecting it to work right out of the box, it won't.I'm dropping two stars off because of the stupid charger/cable on the plasma one. Why in 2025 are things not using USB-C? I mean I don't want to have to carry around multiple cables everywhere and if I lose this one, then I am out of luck. This uses some weird USB to something that looks like a 3.5mm headphone type plug. You are not going to have one of those in your junk drawer of cables... this isn't a standard cable at all.I get size port size would be important in the industrial design process, but come on, type-c would have been much more preferable. I would give up 20 - 30 uses per charge to have a standard type-c port to charge.
