Just what I needed
Had this item in my cart for a few days and finally made my decision. Don’t know why it took me so long. They are perfect, can’t feel them and the noise reduction is just what I needed. Different size of buds. They don’t feel like they are going to fall out. Carrying bag for easy to carry. Totally worth the price. Perfect for everyday wear.

They are just okay.
They havetwo types of ear plugs - foam like in disposible ear plugs and silicone, the type used in earphones. Blocked some music, but nothing amazing you could get get similar from noise cancelling earphones.Didn't work for me. I wouldn't use for sleeping.

Uncomfortable to sleep
Even changing the earplugs, it bothers your sleep and hurts the ear, and you can't stay with that for all your night's sleep

Noise cancellation minimal
They are not comfortable to wear/sleep in and definitely are not noise canceling with all the snoring I still hear. I need tried changing tip sizes but that didn’t help. They will be thrown in a drawer to never be used again.

Great for protecting your ears in noisy environments, not so great for sleeping
I don't think JVC should advertise these as sleeping earplugs, because I tried sleeping with them, and it was not a good experience for me. I already have a pair of the Bose Sleepbuds II, and those fit inside my ear and are fairly comfortable when sleeping. I'm just referring to the fit. Of course I know that the Sleepbuds are electronic and these JVC earplugs are just passive. But the JVC ones are just too large. I was able to find the correct size earpieces to use with them to fit my ears, but I'm a side sleeper. So they stick out of my ears enough to bother me, especially on the side of my head that is against the pillow. So for me these are a total fail for sleeping. But for general use to protect my ears against loud noises, they are great. I can use these in any environment where I would normally have to wear hearing protection headphones, such as at a shooting range or an airshow. So that's what I will use these for. Since they are so small, it's much easier to carry them with me than a large pair of over the ear headphones. But if JVC wants to improve these so they work as well for sleeping, they need to make them smaller.

First Pair I ever bought I can say works
First Pair I ever bought that I can say actually works out 100% but it blocks at least 50% of the noise which is amazing because most of them are like 10% and I’ve try a lot!!!

Big upgrade over normal ear plugs, great fit with easy placement
These earplugs are much better than regular “disposable” foam earplugs, especially if you need to wear them for more than a few minutes and/or find yourself in situations where you need to regularly wear hearing protection. The set comes with the main earplugs with medium-sized foam tips already attached, a small cloth storage bag, extra tips in various sizes (1 set of small foam, and 1 set each of silicone tips in small, medium, and large), and some instruction sheets. The instruction sheets are a bit comical in how large they are… you’d think you were learning how to use a fancy electronic device. It basically comes down to: Find the tips that fit best in your ear, then put the ear plugs in your ears and twist them until they are snugly in place. Easy, as you’d expect! For me the medium foam tips that were already installed fit great right out of the box. You simply compress the foam a little bit just as you would with regular earplugs, and then insert the plug into your ear. The earplugs are labeled for left and right and the left plug also has a small raised dot on it so you can easily find it if you’re in a dimly lit area.Regular ear bud headphones tend to fall out of my ears easily, but the way these earplugs are designed allows them to fit tightly in my ear and also stay supported against the back edge of my outer ear. Very secure fit and I don’t think there’s any chance of them falling out. Not only does the good fit make sure they don’t fall out, but it also ensures that they stay well placed in my ear so the sound attenuation stays at a constant level.I found that these work great for virtually eliminating low frequency background sounds such as air conditioner noises, refrigerators, etc. The effect is similar to wearing electronic noise cancelling headphones. They also do an excellent job for reducing all sounds in general while still letting you hear things at a comfortable level. I plan to use them up close at concerts instead of using the standard foam plugs which tend to need adjustment over the course of a concert. The included small cloth storage bag is perfect for these as it is a simple bag that you can easily fold up in your pocket. Much better than any kind of hard shell case. Just put the earplugs in the bag and keep them in your pocket when you plan to go someplace where they will be needed. One final note… For some reason after JVC and Kenwood merged they decided to name the combined company JVCKENWOOD (confusingly presented in all caps with no space). So… just FYI that’s what that word is. I didn’t know they had merged and was expecting to see "Japan Victor Company" (JVC) as the manufacturer... and was wondering what the “Ja-Vecken-Wood” company was until I realized it…

Minimal size but didn't block out all the sound
I like the size but I'm used to foam ear plugs that fit into eat cannal. These do not fit as snugly in my ear so perhaps I still hear sounds (snoring).
