I’m giving this 5 stars even though I’m returning it because it is an excellent pillow. I had reached out to the company before purchase to see if they had local sellers and they don’t but they did say this was their official store on Amazon so that was reassuring, I got the pillow overnight and the customer service was great. Absolutely no odor, beautiful quality, not overheating, felt like a cloud, and nice packaging.Now for why I returned it. I have a connective tissue disorder that leaves me in awful neck/shoulder pain with nearly every single pillow. The only pillow that doesn’t cause this pain for me is one of those orthopedic ones by Elviros with the little ramp up for the neck area and your head cradled really low. I just don’t like how hard the memory foam is- I miss normal pillows. So I was really excited to try out the dual support of this pillow which is apparently harder below and light on top- to give support while still emulating a normal pillow. Sadly I think the cervical support was too high/round and the dip in the middle was too high, even on the lower side- and even though when I tested it out while awake and it felt like heaven, I was up a million times in the middle of the night and woke up in awful pain. So, sadly this did not work for me but I could see how it would be amazing for someone else. It was surprisingly easy to get it back into the packaging and they have a 30 day no questions asked return if it doesn’t work out for you. It is an expensive pillow but had it worked out for me I would’ve found it well worth the money, it’s a really unique texture.

The best pillow I've ever had. I'm a side sleeper and also sleep on my back. For years I've had neck pain because the pillows (YES PILLOWS. I've bought and tried so many just to find the right one) I had before were either too high or too low and just didn't feel right. I came across cushion lab and thought to myself why not let's try this one too. I'm so glad I did! I slept really well and didn't wake up with any pain in my neck. Threw away the pillows I had before. At first the pillow looks very high but once you put your head down its perfect. Love how they have the "dip" in the middle for your head and the right amount of support all around for the side sleeping. LOVE.

**Updated below original text**Honestly this is the pillow I’ve been looking for after many, many, MANY failed attempts to find one that is comfortable and won’t kill my neck. The only issue (other than the odor which fades pretty quickly) was that there are chunks loose under the removable cover which causes lumps on one side— pictured with my review. Thankfully it’s on the side I don’t currently use so it doesn’t stop me from using it. The thing is, when you pay $100+ for a pillow it doesn’t feel right having to settle for a defect like that right out of the box so I decided to contact the manufacturer to explore options. I followed the Amazon guidelines and sent a message to the manufacturer through their site which boasts a 12 hour response time. It’s now been over 12 days and I haven’t heard a peep in response. This unprofessional level of service was enough for me to knock a star off what should be a five star pillow. My hope is that my experience is a one off that still left me with a sour taste over what should be an easily praised product.********************************Three months. That's how long this pillow lasted. THREE MONTHS.After never getting a single reply from their customer service for the physical defects of the pillow (mentioned in the original review) I still used it because it costs too much to discard over something that didn't impact the usability of the thing. For a while it was great! Super comfortable and supportive. I slept like a damn baby for a few months there until suddenly I noticed my head sinking lower and lower towards the mattress. Don't get me wrong, I have an abundant cranium that'll pit any pillow against the forces of gravity but even with my plus-sized skull... three months? Come on.Soon I had a debilitating neck pain from the lack of support. It took a week and a half for my neck to feel normal with the use of prescription anti-inflammatories, alternating heat/ice and an insulting amount of Aspercreme for someone to use when their not quite in their 40s. Throughout that recovery process I also stopped using my Cushion Lab's pillow to ensure more damage couldn't be done.I was very disappointed if not disillusioned that a pillow priced and praised at this level could fail me so quickly. My last attempt to reach out to Cushion Lab didn't yield anything in return, however, those decent few months at least earned them another chance to make it right. I reached out again with a civil message detailing my woes. This plea was not hostile nor accusatory but rather one just asking for help because their product failed me when I really, really needed it. Weeks passed and nothing was said back. Not a single message, call, carrier pigeon, emoji or acknowledgement of any kind. Even a "sorry it's not our fault you have a comically large head" would have me looking at this situation through an entirely different lens.So here we are. I've changed my review to one star and that's truly a shame. The sad thing is I had been looking at some of their other products for my office chair AND recommended the bed pillow to many people. Amazing how an opinion can change so quickly when all I was looking for was ANYTHING back when help was requested.There are other pillow options out there that likely won't make you feel broken or ones that at least have customer support of some kind. Cushion Labs no longer fits either of those categories.

The C Cushion Lab Deep Sleep Pillow is clearly a high-quality product. The materials feel premium, the design is thoughtful, and it comes nicely packaged. I can see how it would work great for a lot of people.Unfortunately, it just didn’t feel right for me. The shape and firmness weren’t as comfortable as I’d hoped, and I found myself adjusting a lot during the night. That said, it’s more about personal preference than the pillow itself.If you like a more structured or ergonomic pillow, this might be perfect for you. It just wasn’t the best match for my sleep style.

I have had this pillow for over a week and am very happy with it! I have bought all kinds, from Coop to Tempurpedic and everything in between. I am a side sleeper and have had neck aches and shoulder pain from all the other pillows. I also sleep on my back and it’s good for that, too. I wake up free of neck and shoulder pain. I finally found the pillow I have spent years looking for!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Let me start off by saying I have suffered from migraines most my life and chronic neck pain for the past nearly 10 years. I have tried alllllllllll of the pillows. I ordered this one on a whim because I have not found one I like. I have had it for awhile now and loved it at first. It has different heights so you can switch the pillow around. But the more I use it the more I do not like it. I wake up with a very stiff neck and neck pain, I feel like the pillow is a little too shallow. I just cannot seem to get a good fit. It is good quality for the price I just personally do not like it works the best.
