Best box cutter ever!
I LOVE the auto retract feature, and they cut neatly through thick cardboard. These are wonderful!

Auto-retractable utility knife
I love the idea of this utility knife. An easy squeeze trigger which will only release the blade when you need it instead of like traditional utility knives that leave the metal blade out. The knife fits easily in the hand and is comfortable to hold. The ceramic blade is much safer than the metal ones and I feel secure that I would cut myself when opening a box. This will also help me with my diamond painting hobby - cutting away the protective plastic sheet over the image so I will have straight lines to work with. This is a great knife.

Super safe and simple to use, best for non-continuous cutting
This is a great, high-safety knife for quick and/or moderate-volume cutting tasks. It couldn't be any easier to use: Squeeze the handle, and the blade pops out. Let go, and the blade retracts. The ceramic cutter works well on most materials, yet it doesn't hurt if you touch it to your skin. The knife's toggle switch locks the blade in the retracted position, but it doesn't work to keep the blade extended. As such, this knife might not be ideal for high-volume or continuous cutting. Squeezing the trigger constantly can tire out your hands, so one of Slice's other knives could be better for such jobs.Blade changes are straightforward but slightly awkward to perform. You need to squeeze the trigger, hold down the release button, and insert/remove the blade - all at the same time. It's not bad once you get the hang of it. All in all, I'm very happy with this knife's performance and extremely safe design.

Interesting idea, but not intuative
I thought this design would make it easier to open boxes, but the mechanism is a little unusual and hard to use

Very convenient and works good
I got this to use for opening packages and boxes conveniently but without worrying about leaving a knife out that one of the kids could pick up. Previously we used a retractable small box knife, but had a couple instances where it was laid down and one of the kids picked it up and quickly pushed out the blade before getting it taken away. This knife easily cuts open boxes, sealing tape, or shipping bags with very little effort, and it stays retracted unless you are holding the handle down, but the blade is not sharp to where you can easily cut yourself like with a sharp metal blade. Overall we are very pleased with its operation and have not had any problems opening packages and feel more secure no immediate accidents can happen if small hands happen to get hold of it.

Thinking outside the box cutter
This is the coolest little household tool I've seen in a while. I was a little bit skeptical that the blade could cut thick tape to open boxes while being safe to the hand, but it's absolutely true. It can even cut the cardboard itself if you get the angle right. It's built of plastic, but it feels sturdy and well built. So cool that it is immediately retractable and in an ergonomic shape that fits my hand very well. I feel safe storing it in a drawer in my kitchen, with no worries that any little ones will be able to hurt themselves with it. I like that it could get left outside or in a wet environment and never rust. I also like that the blade is ceramic, which is known to stay sharp longer than metal. This product really re-imagines the box cutter concept for me. Of course a metal utility blade can do so much more than just open packages, and the place for it will always be there, but this will be what I grab when opening packages and breaking down boxes. Price-wise, I feel that it is a little on the expensive side for a single purpose tool made mostly of plastic (tho it is very solid seeming), up there with the cost of the best retractable metal utility knives.

Great idea for a utility knife
I like the idea of the squeeze trigger utility knife. It adds an element of safety (can't forget to retract the blade). Another safety item is a lock on the underside of the handle. The blade cuts well for my purpose, mostly cardboard and I like how the trigger works. There won't be any rust with this item, neither body nor blade. In my opinion the price is a bit high, and it should come with at least one extra blade. Also, the package states a no-tool blade change, but doesn't tell you how. I have yet to figure it out.
