This is a GREAT product! I live in a small home, and it has met my every need for heat, air purification, and fan air through every season of the year! It's 100% quiet, easy to program, and keeps the air quality high even thru the cold weather when the house is shut tight. Would definitely buy again.

These fail after 2 to 6 months. I purchased 2 in September 2024 and the first failed in October just beyond the 30 days return from Amazon; however, Shark replaced it under their 2 year warranty. The second one failed in November 2024 and again Shark replaced that. Now the first replacement just failed which now totals 3! They all fail in the same mode, the heater is set to 75 and it just quits, no noise no smell. I'm now waiting for Shark to replace the replacement. They have a serious engineering problem with this product. Just read the other (1) reviews. Hopefully Shark re-engineers these units and swaps out all the defective ones. Durability is a big fat zero.This is a follow-up to above review. It has been nearly 3 weeks since I last contacted Shark Ninja and at the time Eric stated that I would receive an email with instructions on how they were going to handle the problem and there has been no contact from Shark! It appears that they figured out they had a problem with all their stock and don't know what to do about. I'm going to call them again to find a resolution for the latest failure. 3/4/2025This is follow up # 2. The saga continues. After speaking with Shark about failure #3, they said they would ship another one but found out they were out of stock and didn’t know when they would get any. They gave me a choice of waiting for a new one or receive my purchase amount as a check. I chose to wait.A week later I received a new 3-1; however, it wasn’t HC501 that I had purchased. Shark decided on their own to ship me the smaller version which only covered 500 sq ft vs. HC501 that covered 1000 sq ft. I received an email stating there would be no reimbursement and the considered the matter closed. . . well I don’t. We’ll see where it goes from here! 3/30/2025

Honestly loved this air purifier so much. Had it for three years. Until it stopped working on me, to be fair it did get its power cord chewed up by my dog and I had to splice it like 3 times. Some may not like the noise when turning but it’s great background noise to fall asleep too. I’ve had it on pretty much 24/7, great at keeping a room at the set heat temperature. My place gets dusty pretty quick and having three dogs, one is a husky so hair gets everywhere. I actually ordered another one cause I was upset mine broke, may have to tweak around with it and see if I can fix it. Then maybe I can have two of these awesome air purifiers. I can also say these past couple days without an air purifier my allergies have been acting up. So definitely recommend one if you are on the hunt for a good one.

I’ve had this air purifier for over a year and it’s been a life saver. I would love the Fan to be a bit colder, but the heat is absolutely amazing. It purifies pretty well and is very silent up to the 3-4 fan setting. Overall, it’s a pretty good buy!
