A great hat but a caution they run a size too large

This is a great looking hat. I love this hat!! I have a few fedora hats but this hat is in a class all its own. It looks great on me. Simple but elegant. I wear mine with dress clothes, casual clothes and even with a tee shirt and sweat pants.

Prefect For That Godfather Look ...

First of all, a heads up. With this seller, the photo of the hat does not necessarily show the color of the hat that you are going to buy. I bought a light gray and the photo on Amazon shows a black hat. It's important to know that so you aren't unpleasantly surprised.I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 hat. I ordered the x-large and it was perfect. The seller packaging was adequate but not perfect. It was necessary to steam out three creases when the Scala arrived, but that was only about a seven minute job and now the hat looks perfect. I'm actually very please with the quality. These toppers are not expensive and yet they look very nice. The light grey doesn't look out of place in the summertime and goes well with semi casual wear.The material is wool felt and is very stiff, but homburgs are intended to be a defined shape and consequently virtually all of them have that characteristic.

Great price, great quality

I bought this homburg to try something different. I have a collection of relatively expensive Stetson and vintage fedoras. For 60 bucks I figured this was worth the try. WOW, I am very impressed! While the felt is stiff and probably inexpense, the hat has a great fit and finish. I wear a size 7 3/8 and got this in a large. A tiny amount of tissue paper under the inside band, and it feels just like a glove. I love it. While I still love my fedoras, this new hat does give me the “Michael Corleone feel.” Way cool, way fun. I must say it arrived in a plastic bag, and I am happy it was not damaged in any way. This fine hat is worthy of a secure box for transport. But no worries, if you order one, and it is damaged, send it back!
