This was a great cheaper alternative to Voltarol at around £5 a 50g tube but now the price is over £8! How can Amazon justify such a massive increase in price, disgraceful.

I've been using Voltarol gel for years due to chronic pain, but it's just so expensive. I decided to give this a go but made sure that I had some Voltarol to hand in case this didn't work as well. But I honestly can't tell the difference.It does have a slightly strange smell to it that almost reminds me of a glue smell. But it's only when you're applying it and then it's fine. I have an incredibly sensitive nose and I apply this to my face because I have trigeminal neuralgia, and I can't smell it after a couple of minutes of applying it.It has the same active ingredient and works just as well. If you get it on offer then it's almost half the price of Voltarol. I'll definitely be buying this in future.

There’s a few brands, strengths and pack sizes of Diclifenac gel, and this probably works out the cheapest.Works well for muscular strains, and milder joint discomfort. Easy to use and doesn’t stink!Best on S&S

I bought this as It was a much more reasonable price than my usual high quality brand, I was not disappointed, it was so much better, it's slightly thicker, smells nice and I actually feel it does the job better, like the tube and lid design too, I will definitely buy this one again

This seems to work as well as other brands, but I found it hard to open the tube. The cap is well designed for arthritic hands, but the tube itself has a stopper that has to be removed before you can squeeze the gel out. I found this stopper extremely difficult to remove. I ended up cutting it off with a knife which was a bit scary as I don't have full control of my hands.

Normally use voltarol but this is just as good but at a much cheaper price, definitely recommend for muscle aches and pains. Have this on repeat monthly
