Great for screen doors!!!!
Yes it's small. It works amazingly. Took 4 minutes to put on. I got this for my screen door at the sliders onto the patio. My cat learned to use its nose to open the door and I was scared he would get taken by a hawk. This has stopped all of that. Its is built well.The black color goes with the other finishes. Looks great and adds security where I need it. 10/10 would recommend

Does the job!!!
Bought this to latch our slide out counter in our motorhomes kitchen. I was tired of every turn the old latch not holding. This latch is durable and well made. Does what I intended it for and easy to open when we need to.

Holds solid, was smaller than I expected it to be even with the measurements. Keeps the kids out and that's all that matters.

Don't buy if you are looking for door security
Don't count on this lock if you are depending on security. It's flimsy and won't secure any door. My husband is keeping it though to maybe hold a tool drawer closed or something. I don't recommend.

Package with 2 latches only contains 2 left latches - no right latch
The first picture for the 2 latch product clearly shows 2 different latches - right and left. The package I received contained 2 left latches and no right latch. A reorder had the same (2 left latches and no right latch).Why is this important? The clearance on having the latch seat into it's holder is very tight. I had to provide my own spacers to get it to work properly. While you can imagine using the left latch on the right side, this significantly reduces the clearance (latch seating into the holder) making it almost impossible to correctly install.Hence OK if you only need a left latch.
