HMJ8033 Metal base with diameter 8 inch table lamp glass lampshade

Exactly what I needed for my corner computer desk. It's metal with felt lined feet. It only can handle a 25 watt candelabra bulb, so I put in a 4 watt LED, which is bright enough to see my keyboard at night. The first pic is in comparison to my mouse, and the second pic is in comparison to my open 15 inch laptop....As the description is misleading, I used an 8 inch diameter shade on it, which is a perfect fit, while a 12 inch looked just silly, covering most of the base. Thankfully I had this shade in my arsenal and can now finally use it! Very nice!

I sent it back it was so cheap looking when I received I put my Tiffany glass on top and it practically fell over because it's cheap plastic that looks like metal don't waste your money

This lampstand was excellent for my application. It looks good and just the right height for my stained glass shade.

I am pleased with this item. A little pricey.

This lamp base is beautiful but the socket is made for and comes with a very small dim light bulb.

I bought one of these lamp bases to match one I inherited from my grandmother after her passing. It looked identical in the pictures, and the description seemed exactly what I was looking for. When it arrived it looked nothing like the pictures. First, it seemed to be made out of either a very low quality brittle metal or more likely a cheap resin. It looked nothing like the "antique copper" the listing claimed, and the casting was shallow and ill-defined. They tried to compensate for this with the worlds most disgusting yellow and brown paint job - making it look like a vaguely lamp shaped chocolate banana. I wish I took a photo of the two side by side, but I genuinely couldn't look at this product without feeling nauseous. What a waste of $105 (AUD). I had to fight for a refund, which again was not what was advertised, but at least it was picked up quickly by the courier. That's a compliment to the courier, not the seller. I was assured by Amazon that this seller would be investigated, as this wasn't their first complaint, but considering the listing is still live I doubt there's much dedication to removing scam listings on this site. Don't buy from them.

I had two Tiffany lamp shades I'd been looking for bases for years. These look perfect!!

The lamp base is PLASTIC. Not metal. Absolutely not worth what I paid for it. It is cheap plastic. Badly painted. I repainted it. The end is covered in felt. Poorly attached. If you barely press, it comes loose.
