Perfect fit
When our RV's air conditioning failed during the sweltering summer heat, I knew I had to act fast. After reaching out for quotes to replace the motor, I discovered it would cost around $500. Determined to find a better solution, I conducted some research and stumbled upon a fantastic option on Amazon. To my delight, the installation took only about 20 minutes, and the new motor operates significantly quieter than the original. I wholeheartedly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase it again if needed.

Wish I would have done sooner
So it was a direct replacement for our 2014 Coleman Mach A/C's. I had two that needed replacement. The bearings were freezing up and roaring season after season. Plan on 1 hour for the 1st motor swap to be able to clean the squirrel cage. I would personally go ahead and clean everything while I'm up there. Another thing is to have the right size crimp connectors ready also. The second one took me about 30 minutes because I knew what to do and didn't have to go up and down the ladder 10 times. Now they both sound new. I'm glad I didn't have to replace my AC's

Failed in 3 months
I installed this 3 months ago. It worked great then stopped recently. Capacitor tested good but it draws high amps and overheats and trips breaker now. Reached out about the two year warranty and they want you to send back the old motor to verify it’s bad before sending a new one. They seem to just be giving the run around to get out of backing the product. Overall I would find a different seller to purchase the motor from.

Some modification needed
Like Danny Powers and Kim Baker's experience I was not able to just pop mine in. I have a coleman mach unit and the bolts/studs on the new motor did not line up exactly with the holes on the mounting plate. Now I am pretty mechanically inclined and have moderate fabrication skills so It wasn't a big deal but just upsetting since it's supposed to be an exact match. What I ended up doing was using a step drill bit which is like many drill bits in one. I opened the holes up 2 more sizes and then the studs all lined up with the holes. I don't remember what size bit I ended on. A regular drill bit set would work but the step drill bit is quicker. Once the motor was mounted the rest went easy and I have been happy with the motor's operation.

Will work as a replacement but modifications needed to make fit
This was sold as a compatible replacement for the Fasco 7184-0156, but the four studs to mount it are slightly closer together so I had to modify my rooftop a/c so it would fit. I had to drill new holes to fit the motor because it didn't fit the original holes. Also the shaft is a little shorter then the original, but that didn't cause me any problems, I'm just mentioning it since they give a long list of motors this is supposed to be able to replace.
