Clever gardening /grass edition for problem areas
Great paint finish, easy assembly, well built product, feels sturdy not flimsy comes with extra poking stems.A tad shorter in handle "height/length than what I would of preferred but not a deal breaker for me I can manipulate that. Great market price too.No instructions came but do you really need them??? If you bought this you kinda know your way around the gardening aspects. I definitely do recommend for getting your garden up to par in those pesky, dry, never green areas.

Good tool, be careful buying
It works as advertised and does well for a manual aerator. But beware of the seller on Amazon. I was under the impression I was buying new, but when it came, it appears to be used. The spikes are suppose to have a polished finish. The spare ones do but the ones on the grate did not and have some slight rust on them. It also came in a box with no packaging/bubble wrap. Just loose parts thrown into a single Walensee box held together by a piece of Amazon Prime tape where if you gave it a good shake, it would have broken the tape and dumped it on the floor. There was also no Walensee product information or manual that comes with their other products (I've bought a couple from other places so I know they are included), luckily its pretty easy to put together. So the product works and is good, but I might advise looking elsewhere for it

Keep It Simple
First let me say I have been an Amazon Prime customer for years and years. I have never had a problem they were not able to rectify. They are my go to source for nearly everything.Recently the city did some upgrades to gas, water and sewer lines. Their seeding skills leave everything to be desired. I didn’t have a large area to be seeded but needed an aerator and did not want to rent one. Enter Walensee Lawn Aerator. Talk about simple, easy to assemble, and easy to use… this is IT. We live in SW PA and the ground is clay. Needless to say it did not go all the way into the ground in some places, but that was to be expected. It did what was needed and didn't leave huge dirt clots on the ground unlike motorized aerator’s. After areating the lawn, seeding, topsoils, watering and hay, two weeks later I have grass growing and will mow it sometime this week. The Walensee Lawn Aerator is not fancy and doesn’t claim to be but gets the job done! Highly recommended

Works extremely well!
This is a well built, ez to assemble product. All hardware and wrenches are included and you can use in 10 minutes. Two observations: 1. Spray the tines with cooking oil if you live in the South where we have black/red gumbo soil.2. Moisten the ground before using to better ease the aeration process.

Nice manual tool.
Well constructed and easy to assemble. Only used a short time but works well. Make sure your lawn has been watered to soften the soil.

Well built and easy to use
The first thing i noticed was the weight of the metal, seems like it's built to last! When I pulled the 3 sections from the box, some of the hardware fell out (the hardware bag is zip tied to one of the tube sections). The bag had ripped in shipping, probably because they are including 2 extra spikes which are... sharp. And heavy. Sharing this so you open over a confined area and your screws/nuts don't shoot out and get lost. You'll assemble the 3 pieces by connecting with included screws and nuts (2 each). This seems to be better materialsvs other tools that assemble with metal expanding lock pins or worse, plastic pins.Instructions included but they're really not clear from the pic how the nut is seated. Make sure the rounded side of the nut is facing away from the screw head. Easy to tell w a small blue rubber ring in that rounded off side. You'll want to hold the screw head still on one side with the provided wrench while turning the nut on the other side with the second provided wrench. This could be challenging for ppl with limited dexterity, might be easier with your own tools with or a wingnut. I have good dexterity, but had the wrench slip a few times (wrenches are very thin).Using on the lawn was easy, I didn't have to step on it to apply extra force. I'm 5'4" and the height was good for me to use.

Works
Works well. It can pull up patches of dirt/grass if it’s hard enough. I found not pushing it all the way down on those harder parts prevents this. Great tool. Very laborious if you’re doing your whole lawn. But it works. Waiting for results now. I’ll try to update in a month
