I wish I had known about top-entry boxes years ago! There’s so much less litter scattered around the box in our bathroom now, I just brush the stray litter that sometimes shows up on the lid back down through the holes. It’s so much easier to clean and change, just pull the nice deep tough bag out and walk it to the garbage, I used to have to lug the whole box with me because the liner would always have a rip that leaked litter. Best of all, my senior cat had started to pee just outside the box pretty frequently, a huge stinky drag to clean up. The design of this box lets me keep it pushed all the way against the wall, there’s no longer any private space behind it for her to be able to pee. (We have always turned the entrance of boxes toward the wall so our dog can’t get at it.) She is still in great shape and easily learned to jump in and out of it from the very first day. SO HAPPY!!!

Okay, my cat misses the box, as he is a boy. He squats, but then decides to lift his back side and spray. He is fixed but maybe he thinks this is funny; who knows! But I love my cat and this box solved all my troubles. The seller was quick in rescuing me from my misery. Easy to clean, and sometimes I just leave the lid tipped up all the way for easy access. This is an awesome box! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Does its job and keeps the litter in the box for the most part, defintely made cleaning up a lot easier and because I have a cat who pees on the walls on the inside of the litter bins, the tall walls really helped keep it all in the box. (I have two cats - 7 years old and less than 2 years old - and they both use it all the time; wasn't a big transition for them from front entry to this one.)The lid doesn't really click shut (a little loose) on the side that opens/closes.. but it's not the biggest deal, my cats don't really jump out in a way that affects it.

This litter box does exactly what I was hoping it would. I have one cat who stands up while she's peeing and it goes outside a normal litter box. She also has Stage 4 kidney disease so she pees ALOT! This litter box is tall, with no joints or seams, and has an easily removed lid where she can hop up and get in through the hole. She's a petite cat and it works perfectly for her. Unfortunately, I have two other cats and I'm not sure they use it. I haven't seen them go in it and once or twice I have found a couple of piles/puddles outside the box. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, so they may just be holding it until they can go outside. This box is reasonably priced and very sturdy and easy to clean. The color is as shown. I highly recommend it for normal size to smaller cats. I think it would be good to have a larger size for larger cats, although the hole is plenty big and cats do like to squeeze into small spaces. It also prevents litter from getting all over the floor. Its pretty much perfect :)

Less mess outside of box. This is a must have if you have a messy kitty. Whoever designed this, is a genius. Easy to clean as well.

I recently purchased two of these top entry litter boxes for my larger cats, and overall, they have been a great addition to our home.One of the standout features of this litter box is the grated lid, which helps to minimize tracking and keeps the litter contained inside. This has been great, as I find less litter scattered all over the floor. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in maintaining a clean and tidy space.However, there is one aspect of the design that falls short. The hinged top, while functional, could be more resilient. The mechanism on the lid doesn't clip in easily to the mechanism on the box, and when it does, it tends to come unlatched quite easily. This is only slightly annoying.If you have larger cats and are in need of a spacious litter box with a grated lid, this is a solid choice. I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to other cat owners.

I have been searching for years for a litter box for our cats that is easy to clean, does not result in litter all over the place, and has less odor. This litter box fits the bill. I have two large cats - both are 15# - and they have no problem using it. Their heads stick up above the hole in the top but they are able to maneuver around to get their business covered up. I use PetMate liners but these don't fit well. I'm looking for another liner - maybe a trash bag. The dimensions are such that a kitchen bag won't fit, but I believe a medium sized lawn and leaf bag might work. That's the only down-side. I put the liner in the box then I fit a disposable litter pan in the box. These are size medium Kitty's Wonder Box and they fit like they were made just to fit this litter box. Then I fill the litter box with blue crystals on the bottom, and clumping litter on the top. Once a week, I just pull down the liner, tie it up over the disposable litter box and voila! Out the door to the trash can. No need to clean the box every time since nothing gets on the inside of the box. There is very little odor around the cat box and the cats didn't have any problem figuring out how to use it. This is a great product. The only down side is that there need to be more options for liners. It's a "pet-mate" product, and there is one type of "pet-mate" liners that work, and are ok - but sometimes just a little too short and I have to tape them to the outside of the box. Overall, however, that's a small price to pay for the best litter box system I've found (in over 4 decades of searching!)
