Never knew I needed this!
I bought this so I could have a physical keyboard for me Legion Go, and for that use case it is PERFECT.So glad other recommended as it does everything I need, plus has a nice backlight feature, and the thing I like most of all about it, "soft" plastic finish. It's a strong case but the finish is matte and for lack of a better descriptor, NOT hard/sharp/angled. So I can throw it in the Go's case in front of the screen and NOT have to worry about it scratching anything. Battery life seems far longer than I need and the BT connects quickly and reliably. What more could you want?

Handy keyboard for phone
I owned a similar keyboard for about 10 years, but it’s rechargable battery eventually died. ZThis one has the added advantageof backlit keys, which I like. It’s an old design (charges with mini-USB!) but it still works. It works with an iPhone, with some minor adaptations, like the Command button is the one on top labeled “WIN.”. If you want to write anything lengthy on your phone, or would like cursor kwys to help editing, this is a useful device. Very pocketable, too, only about 1/2” longer than a business card.Quality is a little variable. The first one I received had very stiff key presses, and the backspace key sometimes got stuck and deleted massive amounts of writing before it could be stopped. Sent that one back for a replacement, and this one is both easier and more reliable. They could improve it by including a slip casem which my old one came with, and which I’m using with this one.

Impressive product
Make no mistake, this mini is a high quality item for a low price. I've had some cheapo mini keyboards and this is a cut above the rest. The quality, reliability, and operation are top notch. They also have models with a touchpad but I like this one for being so compact for travel or pocket carry. I've used mine for 2 years and it still feels new.

Great purchase
My husband is always complaining about touch screen keypads on phones these days because you can't feel the buttons so he makes more mistakes. I got him this for his birthday. It's tiny. He loves it! It works well, charges quickly, and most importantly for him, he can feel the keys. Setup was quick and easy.

It Functions
I would love to get a Cosmo Communicator or a FxTec Pro but I'll be honest, their specs aren't that much better than my 6 year old phone. Now onto this thing. It turns on. The keys work. The bluetooth connection is good. The battery is fine. The keys are mushy but tactile and still light-years better than a touchscreen keyboard. Unfortunately, all this good is negated by the awful backspace key, which gets stuck under the bezel of the case if you happen to press up on the key wrong, potentially wiping an entire line of text as you try to un-stick it.I desperately want this to work, so I sprayed some heavy duty lubricant in there above the backspace key. It somewhat helped, but it still gets stuck.Edit: I got fed up and took a craft knife to the bezel around the key. It's ugly but the backspace no longer sticks.Other hang-ups include the lack of dedicated period or comma keys. Like what the? These are the most common punctuation symbols in the English language. You're gonna make me press and hold FN for them??? At least forward slash has a dedicated key. (Lmao.)It would've been fine if this keyboard was just a centimeter longer, if they were that needing for space. It's worth mentioning that this thing has backlit keys. You can also charge it and use it at the same time. You can't connect to it without using bluetooth, the mini usb port is for charging only (I tried using its cord and a micro usb to usb hub for connecting it to my phone and it didn't detect it).If you're not picky and you can live with these issues, get it. In the meantime, I'm going to contemplate a Cosmo.

EDITED: Lovely little guy, almost perfect for this use-case
Edited my review; turns out I misunderstood how the pairing process works, it's working perfectly now. The included manual isn't quite clear enough; I found the correct instructions in the listing details.I love this little thing, actually so much. It's very comfortable to hold and the buttons have the perfect amount of bubble and clickiness, but without being tough to press at all; it's exactly what I want in a physical phone keyboard. I could see myself rattling out story ideas on the go just like I used to with my flip-phone back in the day.My one (and only) complaint is that I understood the Shift and Fn keys as press events; you actually have to press and hold them while pressing the affected key, like a normal keyboard, which is slightly problematic for the keys on the same side as those buttons.Worth noting: since it's a separate piece that requires both hands, you need somewhere to put your phone. I had some sort of forearm-band mount in mind, or possibly attaching it to the phone's case somehow.
