These are great for the most part. I use them to partially keep my neck from burning while I do road cycling but also for cooling of course. When water is poured on to it the cloth is quite cold, which has been a game changer lately for July cycling. The only thing I don't like is that they dry out pretty quickly; I dunked one of the cloths in ice water and the wrapped it around my head before putting my helmet on. About three miles down the road it was dry and I had to pour water from my water bottle on my head to cool off while moving

Comfortable and cooling

It does the job (protection from sun)! But not for running. I bought it for trail running and the hood flops back so I either have to tie it around my neck or hold it in place, both not comfortable.
