I am pleasantly surprised at how well this works. When searching for chemical free, this came up, price was right, my clothes smell great, no over powering smells. Cleans just fine. I think I found a new detergent. Will be ordering again

Happy with the purchase. The packaging seems to work well, keeping any potential leaks from happen which has happened to me when ordering laundry detergent online. The fragrance is not overly powerful which is a positive. Also cleans very well as we did a few spot cleans on some stained clothes and came out immediately. Affordable and no regrets!

I like this detergent because it doesn’t harm my family’s skin nor damage our clothes. I use a small amount for a large wash load and it works well. In fact, I been using this detergent for the past 4 years and don’t see any reason to switch to another brand.

This Amazon Basics Laundry Detergent has a great fresh scent and the cleaning quality is excellent. I was very pleased with how well it cleaned my clothes. However, when I first went to open the bottle, I encountered a bit of an issue with the cap. It was on so tightly that instead of just unscrewing the top, the entire dispensing mechanism (the second part connected to the container) started to unscrew as well. I was eventually able to get it open, but I'm wondering if this is a common issue or if I just happened to get a particularly tight cap and yes I saw the instructions to squeeze the bottom part but still had trouble. Despite this initial struggle, I'm happy with the detergent itself.

I decided to buy this after we used the pods at an Air B&B in Hawaii with good results. This works really well on stains and odors. A little goes a long ways and it doesn't oversuds in our new HE washer which seems to be temperamental in thatarea. It smells really nice, very fresh. The only thing I'd caution is that the scent is a bit on the stronger side, so if you are someone with sensitive skin or allergies you may want to get the fragrance free version. Otherwise, our whole family really loves this. It arrived in perfect condition as well with no leaks.

Best sensitive skin formula I have found so far. Better than name brands.

I used to use Purex (lavender scent), but years ago it became difficult to find locally. So I began ordering from Amazon. And then Amazon discontinued it. So frustrating. So, I switched to their brand… tricky tricky! But hey, it’s cheaper and it works well. No complaints.

First time buying this detergent and the cap won’t come off. Not sure if this is typical for the Amazon brand, but we’ve tried several ways to open the cap to access the pour spout and it won’t budge. The only way to get detergent out is to open the entire child locked top exposing the full bottle opening and pour that way.
