We found a great way!
Got this for my kid and at first he got frustrated because it's not solid, as others have mentioned. BUT we did some experimenting and found a way! Don't know if it would work for others but... We put one hook in the sound hole as instructed and hooked the other one on a string up by the pegs. See photo. And that part of the strap went behind the back of the neck up there (not hooking directly in front, but coming from behind and then underneath, to hook in the front). My kid is really excited and he really loves it and wanted me to add a ❤️ also very pretty and high quality.

Beautiful, quality uke strap
Nice looking strap. No complaints about quality or appearance. This is the first strap I've used with a uke. Although it probably works as advertised, this style of strap with hooks in the sound hole is not as stable as a strap connected with an end-peg and either a peg at the base of the neck, or a loop at the nut, like you'd use for a guitar or mandolin. It's a step up from supporting your uke with your elbow, but not rock solid like a guitar strap.

Does the job as advertised, no drill
Not wanting to drill into my beautiful little Concert quilted willow ukulele, I tried this. I read the reviews from others about scratching the edges of the sound hole and it’s lack of safe hold.I guess it’s a choice between scratches in the sound hole or drilling holes. I decided that my Uke will have “love wear”. I do like how this works. I put it on a bit differently than the pic shows. While playing I find it perfectly adequate while standing to play. If I let go of it to walk around, it does need a bit of support to keep from swinging upside-down and I don’t have a problem with remembering that, but it doesn’t fall on the floor when I let go of it.. I do like the support it gives while playing. Very minimalist. With limitations, it is a well-made functional product. I would just think through how much security and support you think you really need. For me, this works well for such a small, light instrument. I do like how much easier and quicker it is to go off and on versus a traditional strap that is tied at the headstock. I felt that 2 screws in such a small instrument was overkill. I probably would not use this on a high-end $2000 Uke but on a $125 instrument, a little love wear is no issue.

Clips are too small
Good strap. Can hold even small guitars in addition to ukuleles. Like the two clips at both ends. Only problem is the clips are too small, they don’t stay on, keeps coming off frequently.

Yes Yes Yes
I LOVE this product. I have been meaning to get a ukulele strap forever, and I had an Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket so I thought I would try this. The strap takes some getting used to, like actually putting it on the ukulele. Once you figure it out though it is really easy. I didn't find it to be too small, once I adjusted it initially I have plenty of room. Keep in mind I'm 5'3" with petite shoulders. I have room to strum, it fits in my bag, SO happy with this purchase!
