Eye catching design + some QC issues.
This is a really unique speaker floor stand. Its not just the intriguing design that sets it apart, but the way in which its put together (and stays up) that makes it special as well.ASSEMBLY:Didn't take long, probably <30 minutes but it would have taken less time had it not been for the problems with the parts. Assembly consists of threading the five different steel cables to the top and bottom panels, as well as attaching the metal arms to the top and bottom panels. Anyone can do it without issue.MATERIALS:The top and bottom panels look like some sort of dense MDF or wood composite that's been painted black. The top panel has a groove designed to keep your speaker from sliding around. Steel cables with brass ends that serve as the screws that thread into the panels.PROBLEMS:The top panel of the speaker stand uses four silver colored inserts that are inserted from the top of the panel through to the bottom, where the steel cable then gets screwed into them. These four inserts arrived with severely corroded threads, to the point that I was only able to screw one of the cables all the way in at the top. The other three are only screwed in about half of the way. This resulted in an assembly that isn't taught and wiggles/wobbles back and forth. Its still usable, but it does make me a little nervous about having my Bowers and Wilkins speaker on it.QUALITY:Aside from the aforementioned QC issue with the threaded inserts, this is a well engineered speaker stand.OVERALL:I'm in love with the aesthetic. Pricey for just one stand, but I say its worth it. Recommended.

Two great tables
We got two of these tables to hold display items in an interesting way. We get lots of comments on them. People, especially kids, love to go over and ‘twang’ the wires. Highly recommended.

Got a bad one
I had such high hopes for this, but I got a bad one.The central load-bearing cable doesn't have a threaded insert to go into on the base arm. It is just a hole. It didn't fall out, it was just never installed. If it DID fall out, then yikes. Will you put a $500 speaker on a threaded insert that would just pop out? That central cable is the lynchpin for it all to work. But again, it just looks like it was missed during assembly.

It will support more than 11lbs
I purchased on a chance to see if it will support my Klipsch bookshelf speakers. My speakers weigh approximately 24.5lbs. I would not suggest these if you have pets or small children. As long as your floor is flat, you shouldn’t have any issues with whatever you have on top taking a swan dive to destruction. Also take your time threading in hardware. Chineseium strips very easily.

Almost perfect
Putting this wasn't too hard to put together BUT I couldn't get one of the screws to fully tighten so one of the stands is wobbly. I might return them because I paid too much for these. They do look really nice though.

Cool speaker stand
This is definitely a cool stand I find it very sturdy as I put a heavy B&W bookshelf speaker. The instructions was good but the parts weren’t labeled and it took me few minutes to figure out which is which. The only downside I’m not happy with that this stand is about 3~ inches shorter than the standard speaker stand length. Overall I find it unique and elegant.
