Easy to use
This is the first bike computer I've owned . To me it's a great purchase. On one screen I can see everything that I need. It will download info to other devices like strava. I highly recommend.

My best bike computer so far
Works great. I can see the display even in the bright sun, wearing sunglasses. The GPS is on point, the battery runs for several rides. I am very happy I opted for 1040 and not 1030 model.

Best Bike Monitor On the Market
I came from a Wahoo Monitor so this was a major upgrade. I really love the data and the turn by turn directions. The only thing is to record your data to strava, you will need to have the Garmin app, and the data from the monitor has to upload to to the app first, before it goes to your Strava data. So sometimes It may take a minute or two for the data to upload to the Garmin app. Not a big deal, just a part of technology.

Good but not durable
I have found this Garmin device to be very easy to use and great with navigation and pairing with other devices. I really enjoyed using it. The only con - is the durability. If you drop this device the screen will crack. I had a protective case which did nothing when my Garmin hit the road after slamming into a pothole. I would prefer a non-glass screen that had less resolution versus a very delicate screen. The device is completely damaged and I will now look for another device that is more durable. It’s way too expensive to have the screen destroyed if dropped. Look to get a top rated case IF you can find one. I thought I had a good case by nope - glass completely shattered.

Works Great
I had another bike computer, but it was hard to read and didn't cover all the needs i had for stats. This one works great for both bikes I use and it also works for my stationary bike as well. Glad I bought it and would recommend it for anyone else. Easy to set up and reads well while riding. Great battery life.
