My 9 year old recently became obsessed with magnets so I bought this for his collection.....he loved it! Only funny thing is it comes in a pink package.

I wished the magnets were bigger. I did like the two bullet magnets and how they worked with the lead and the compass to show movement. But definitely would not recommend under 5. This was for my EC classroom and they broke it in minutes.

The magnets were almost completely demagnetized, and the bar magnet was polarized backwards, so as a science demonstration it is fairly useless.
