I have a Dacia Duster. The rubber covering the buttons to operate the opening and shutting wore away so badly that it was getting difficult to lock the car. I feared having to pay out a lot of money for a replacement key , but I did some research, and came upon this replacement cover. For just a few quid , it was worth giving it a try. Result is that this has worked perfectly , and was so easy to change over from my original key cover. Phew , that was a relief , I can tell you. I would suggest if you are in the same position I was in , do not hesitate to purchase this.

Easy renovation of remote fob
The locking button on my Kangoo Van had worn through and in time the exposed micro switch fell apart.I was anticipating an expensive visit to the dealers but thought I'd check what was available on Amazon.The replacement fob arrived and it was a simple job to transfer the internals of the fob across. It came with replacement switches that were the same size as the originals. I managed to save myself the job of soldering in a new switch by dismantling one and transferring the necessary parts onto the old switch.All working fine again for under £7, bargain!!

Doesn't work, poor build
The board and battery seem to fit OK, but it doesn't work. When I put the board and battery back in the old fob, it does work. Swapped three times but no joy. I suspect the metal prongs for the battery (shown on the right of the image, without the battery) are out of alignment or too short. (Bought for 2015 Dacia Duster 4x4.)

Easy to change, cheap and worked
I have a 2013 Dacia Duster, bought this as the rubber covering the lock button had cracked and then broken off. Tried going to a key shop could couldn't help so bought this online and did it myself. Easy to switch over, looks good as new and working perfectly. Great value for money.

Excellent replacement fob for DACIA STEPWAY
At first I thought it was another duff keyfob but after trying everything I changed the supposedly new cr2016: bought from a car shop for a Panasonic cr2032 which I had got for a scooter and it’s worked fine ever since.

East to move parts over and set up. Well worth the price compared to what Dacia dealership would have charged.
