Attaching lampshade
The media could not be loaded. The instructions for mounting the hardware are on point. However, the instructions for mounting the lamp shade to the nylon rope cord are lacking. My first attempt was horrible no matter what I did, the shade would come apart. Definitely was a defect. So I ordered another one. This one had same instructions, but the outlet housing wasn’t completely screwed in. That’s where I had my aha moment. You need to unscrew the light housing attach the light cord to the lamp shade from the outside and screw the piece back into the light housing unit from the inside. This will secure the shade to the rope. That needs to be added to the instructions for proper placement of the rope to the shade.Besides that, this is exactly what I needed. We only have a ceiling light in my living room and this was a quick fix. Installation was a breeze. Now I can see as im knitting and watching tv. No more missing loops. 😊

Cute, bright, renter friendly. I love it!
It’s so cute and provides just the right amount of light! Love the rattan pattern design and wood look which matches my accent wall perfectly! It’s very lightweight, and I didn’t want to drill into my wall, so I actually used a command strip and it holds up well, so you could say it’s renter friendly as well.

I love these lamps! I installed them above my headboard in an effort to keep my nightstand items at a minimum. The included light bulbs are very bright, illuminating my entire bedroom. With these lamps, I have no use for my overhead light. They were easy to install and adjust the lampshade to my specifications. The cords hide easily behind my headboard and the switches are within proper reach. I highly recommend purchasing these lamps!
