Works fine in my Brother P-Touch PT-D600
I am reviewing the 11.7mm/.46" version of this product. This printable P-Touch-compatible heat shrink tubing is great for labeling Ethernet cables, and other cables in the (roughly) 1/8-1/4" range. My PT-D600 detects the cassette as a 12mm/.47" cassette, even though it is advertised as 11.7mm/.46". My guess is that the label tubing itself is spooled into the same size cartridges that Brother uses for 12mm/.47" and so that's how it is detected. In any case, a .3mm/.1" difference is a lot better than getting a "cassette type mismatch" error, as another reviewer experienced. These tubes print as well as any P-Touch labels I've used – and I've used a lot of them. Crisp, clear, contrasty text. The cartridges are a little difficult to load/unload into/from my P-Touch PT-D600, due to the thickness of the tube stock having to clear the print head, but I did not at any time get the impression that the cartridge would break my machine. When using this tubing, my PT-D600 wanted labels to be a minimum of 2.5" in length. This is a "feature" of the labeler itself, not these cartridges, but it is something to be aware of just the same. The excess can be reduced somewhat by using the P-Touch Editor, if your P-Touch model supports computer connectivity. And if it doesn't? Just use the left-over pieces as plain heat shrink tubing. The shrink ratio on these tubes is 2:1, which means that the diameter of the tubing will be reduced to no less than half of what it starts out at. Be sure to look at the specifications, prior to purchase, to make sure that what you are buying is not too large (or small) for your application. And like all heat shrink tubing, you should not expect to label factory-terminated cables with this tubing, as you will not be able to slide the tubes over the connectors – they're just not big enough.Overall, a decent product – one that I never knew was "a thing", despite working with P-Touch labelers for about 15 years.

They don't shrink to the proper advertised ratio...
I've ordered well over 50 of these heat shrink labels from other companies and this has been the only one that didn't heatshrink properly. I bought 5 packs of 3 and they all had the same issue so I am also pretty sure it's not an issue of one bad run of them.

Cassette type mismatch, prints fine though
I used these with my Brother PT-E300, and they reported a cassette type mismatch even though it let me print fine. Even the auto font sizing worked properly. I did have to dismiss a message each time I printed though. I'm not sure why the mismatch unless it's that 5.8mm is technically smaller than the 6mm minimum. The heat shrink itself seems fine. It is a bit thin compared to normal heat shrink. Since it's packed tightly on the reel and so small it's hard to open it to get your wire in. It helps to have a small sharp tool. The printing itself was fine, but as with other heat shrink labels I've used it is not super wear resistant. I included a photo showing the wear after being rubbed about 50 times with a finger. If you want hardier labels then you can always apply clear heat shrink over. These were a fine fit for 20 AWG wire, a pair of 22 AWG, and great on Dupont connectors. When shrunk completely the ID measured just above 1mm.Packaging was great. All individually sealed, and in a nice box.
