I did quite a bit of research as our current mobile phone provider (Tesco) doesn't offer worldwide SIM deals and my handset doesn't work with an e-Sim which would have been the easiest option. We purchased this pre-loaded SIM and chose the 50GB version for our 23 day trip to the USA. It worked brilliantly and we had no problems at all, surfed the net regularly throughout the day and made one or two USA calls. All our UK calling was done via Whatsapp. Easy to set up although you need to do this in advance to allow for the activation time, and the time difference between countries (this bit caught me out) and check that your handset is unlocked so it can be used with this SIM from a different provider. Would use this again if e-SIM isn't an option.

Had this sim for around 18 days on New York and it hardly ever worked. Sometimes had data or voice but usually neither. Tried in numerous locations. Occasionally voice would work just to check voicemail but immediately after had a msg saying Not registered on Network. Totally useless. Am searching now to get a sim locally as I've another 10 days in NYC. The help office is located in California and was slow to respond and didn't fix anything.

Was good value as i bought 3 SIM cards for a 3 week vacation to the US.Only one of them did we receive an activation message so the other 2 did not get used for a couple of days later.We then tried the sims and they worked- good news but as we failed to receive a message we did not know they were active already.A little frustrating but once activated they worked very well.

Coverage very poor Michigan, even when there was a good signal, data was very intermittent.

After 20 days the SIM stopped working when the phone number was changed. It was then changed again. I visited a T-Mobile store to find out what had happened, they said travSIM had changed the number. travSIM blamed T-Mobile. Completely unacceptable.

Bought for a 3 week trip to the US - at £6 a day to use my own data plan this was a no brainer!Paid for 30 days and activated on the Friday as I had read an earlier review that said they don't activate over the weekend and I was due to arrive in the US on a Monday. However I got a confirmation email through with my US phone number on the Saturday.Switched the SIM into my phone on the plane and turned my phone on as we landed; voila - instant connection to T-mobile in the US!No setup needed on my android phone - everything just worked; on the 2 occasions I lost connectivity a quick phone reset sorted everything out.3 weeks of worry free Spotify streaming, Google navigation and internet connectivity - all at 4G speeds. Very happy and would highly recommend.I was also able to send (without charge) texts and make calls to US numbers for restaurant reservations etc and received confirmation texts back. But obviously I couldn't make calls to my family travelling with me to their UK mobiles or to any UK landlines.To note - I arrived on the 25th of July. I received a text from T-mobile on 4th August asking me to "top up" my account (which I didn't) and then on the 7th another text thanking me for "topping up $0.00"! My connection remained on all of the way through this.
