Love this door handle! We replaced our deadbolt with a smart lock that's black so we needed a black door handle as well. This one is beautiful color, seems solid and durable. There is no sticking which we had a major sticking problem with our last handle. We also need to replace the weather stripping as well, so that may have had something to do with it.Lol. All in all, a great choice for a modern designed door handle. The only thing I liked about the previous one we had that this one doesn't have is that we were able to push down on the handle from the inside to unlock it. This one doesn't have that feature but may be something for the manufacturers to consider....

Schlage is a VERY good brand for door knobs. Always trustworthy to last a long time.

Good for replacing a broken one or if you need to go ADA approved. I knocked off one star for confusing instructions of switching from Left to Right and how far you must swing the lever to unlatch.

I have attempted to contact this seller MULTIPLE times regarding their commonly defective door handles that I purchased from this company. They do not work and they never have.I was sent handles that are missing vital components inside and they have no way to stay securely in a door without them falling off into your hand 75% of the time. I thought maybe I was installing them wrong, (I wasn’t) but it was hard to know at the time because they sent instructions for the wrong product.They simply REFUSE to respond to anything, including requests for installation instructions.So be warned, that if you buy these handles, there’s a good chance they’ll be defective and there is no help or recourse available. Also, be warned, that the number of honest reviews of people receiving bad products and the number of people that find the reviews “helpful” is much higher than Amazon allows to be revealed. I’ve experienced it first hand.My many support requests have been 100% ignored. No response, no acknowledgement, no sign of help anywhere. My review was eliminated and any review that I found helpful, was not counted. (I have the receipts.) That’s just corrupt. Amazon participates in deceptive practices to boost sales.Btw, Danny Günther isn’t a real customer service supervisor. So he, nor anyone else exists to help with support for installation, returns or refunds. I’m sure they will eliminate this review as well.

It is a nice looking lockset however the lever handle edges are sharp to touch and were obviously not eased during the manufacturing process.I was using it to replace an older unit and found that the keeper hole was too small for the oversized keeper barrel on this unit. For a passage set this was not necessary.Strike plate also needed a new prep.
