First time with this type of drain. It has beautiful and modern design. It has everything we needed to install. The strainer is also great and easy to clean. It effectively caught things and hair into the drain. It is a great product. Loving it.

This linear drain appears to be of good quality. It is made from stainless steel so it should not rust. The usual parts are included with the kit such as the threaded adapter, leveling feet, plastic clips, hair strainer, and lifting hook. I like the top cover of the drain which gives you two options to choose from, depending on what you like. There is a stainless steel look or you can flip it over where there is a tray for you to insert a piece of tile. I personally like to use the same tile as the rest of the shower floor. Linear drains give you a nice sleek look. It allows you to use larger tile on the shower floor which make it much easier to clean that small or mosaic tile. There is one drawback to linear drains. Unlike fixed drains, linear drains should be cleaned every week or two. That's where the lifting hook is needed. I scrub the underside of the cover and the drain channel with a brush and I clean out the hair strainer. It only takes a few minutes so it's no big deal. The positives outweigh this one negative.

I saw this linear drain and thought wow - would be great for my new walkin shower! Called the contractor and discussed this prior to ordering. Ironically, he had just stayed in a hotel over the weekend that had this same type of drain and thought it was a great idea. I ordered it, arrived quickly and I took it along to the next meeting with them. Both looked over the drain and components, felt it was well made, had all the required parts, and shouldn't be an issue to install. This will be professionally instlled into and new build. Can't wait - no drain in the middle of the floor!! They also feel was reasonably priced at the current cost of $ 66.00

This is going to be the most beautiful drain. We are redoing our shower in the master bath with marble look porcelain tiles and for the floor we got 2" tiles. They will fit perfectly into the middle of this drain so all you will see is the small metal trough around the outside where the water seeps down and goes into the regular pipe underneath. So much better than an ugly round drain in the middle of the shower. Of course, I am not going to install this, the contractor is but I will post a picture when it is all finished. Can't wait and the project will be five stars because of this drain.

I am a contractor and have used other linear drains before, this one arrived and is missing the o ring that seals the screw in adapter to the actual linear drain.The drain itself seems fine made of stainless but the adjustable legs are not stainless and will probably rust and cause problems later.

I had this linear drain installed in the process of bathroom/shower remodel and it turned out wonderfully. There are two install options - either using the flat stainless steel side or inserting tiles into the tray side. I chose the tile in the tray install and am very pleased with the result. The drain came with all necessary parts including leveling feet and spacers. Installation itself was no more complicated than installing any other shower floor drain.
