This core class figure is something I've wanted for a long time as G2 Megatron is one of my favorite designs of all time, and old G2 Megs is a holy grail of mine. He is what the early 90's represent when it comes to toys, and this small more articulate version of that really does that design justice. I'm super sad I missed out on the selects voyager but this makes me happy. The colors are great , the obnoxious green. It goes well with the purple. I only wish the fusion cannon could've been detached and mounted on the shoulder like the original G2 toy. I LOVE how he has his G2 decepticon insignia too! Wonderful neon orange accents make it perfect for me.A few gripes i have is he's a bit too loose, so you may want to get some joint tightener with the figure. Another thing I wish he had was wheels as in the tank alt mode, he is nothing more than a gorgeous brick. For such a small figure though I'm super happy he can rotate the turret! The cannon can also move up and down. It's great!This is definitely one of my favorite TF figures right now. I want to see more G2 figures like this.

My 4 yr old grandson loved it. He already had 3 this size and was lacking this one. They are easy enough for a 4 yr old to transform.

I had the big G2 Megatron and, despite (or perhaps because of) the tacky color scheme, I love it. So when I saw they were making a small version of him, I had to get one! Now he sits on top of the big one's shoulders.

He's tiny, cute and still transforms perfectly. We love this guy. If you remember the old G2 version as fondly as I do, you'll especially love this retro edition
