My recipe 3-ring binder came with a set of 2-slot plastic protectors perfectly sized to hold the large 5” x 8” index cards. I really liked putting my favorite recipes on them rather than the smaller index cards. When I searched for more 2-pocket plastic protectors, I couldn’t find ones sized for my index cards. But I did find these 2-card plastic protectors for 5” x 7” cards. So I cut one inch off my index card, and they fit great again. I don’t miss the extra inch and I can use the remainder of my large index cards. And the price of this product and the quality is very good. Problem solved.

My wife likes to do photo albums in 3-ring binders. The different sizes and configurations of BCW products makes it easy to arrange photos of different sizes. I like to use them in my genealogy research to hold photos, certificates and important documents. We have found the BCW brand to be good quality and easy to use.

I needed something to store my antique and vintage paper dolls in an acid-free environment without using glue on the backs to keep them stuck to paper, which devalues them. This worked perfectly. These pages holds them in place without damage. I cut some acid-free, white card stock paper in the pockets, then I can use both sides of the page. However; because these pages are for photographs, the pages are a little narrower, but still fit in a 3-ring binder.

I used these to create a notebook to help sell our house. We had so many flowering bushes and trees and flowers, but we put our house up for sale after bloom season, so I put photos of the flowers in this notebook, each labeled on the back. I also put in photos of the lake we lived on. I also had 3-ring protective sheets for regular copy paper sizes and drew a map of the property and where the trees and bushes were, labeled on the map, so that the new owners wouldn't inadvertently remove something not knowing what it was that they might have wanted to keep. I put together a really nice notebook, including instructions for various things, not only to help sell the house, but to leave for the new owners. Our home sold in record time! I think it sold to one of the first five lookers, and we took the second offer.

I store a number of small packaged patterns in binders, and have found that using regular sheet protectors makes the binders uneven, as the patterns all drop to the bottom and consequently cause the binders to fit awkwardly on a shelf, as well as they are a large waste of space. I ordered these to overcome the problem. Each protector has two pockets, and I have the option of using only one, but the seaming between the pockets gives a stronger page. I can use two, which means I've already doubled the amount of regular pages I don't need. Plus, if I so chose, I could slip another pattern in each pocket, back to back, making it possible to reduce the number of protector pages from four to one. I'm very pleased with these.
