The kids have a great time with this!
A lot of other reviews said that the pieces broke as they tried to build this, but I haven't had any issues. When we first opened it, my son (8) and I spent about an hour going through each of the "builds." We didn't read the directions in the booklet, but instead watched the videos and just followed along by pausing and copying what they were doing. My two boys (age 8 and 6) have continued to play with this weekly by using their own creativity to do other builds. The only thing that doesn't work well is the mechanism that turns the gumballs and drops them into the "maze." When we had the bowl filled with gumballs, it constantly jammed and caused frustration. So we removed all the gumballs and put them in a separate container. Then we just drop one in at a time and turn the little wheel to let the gumball out into the maze. It seems to work well, by just doing one at a time.Overall, this is a fun screen-free toy!

Cool but Overpriced
Great gift to encourage thinking and creativity. Lots of different options to build and kids loved it however quality is not there. Pieces easy for kids to break and gumballs jam up. Overall quality falls short of the price point.

Awful!
So cheap and flimsy.. none of the pieces attached nicely and nothing worked as it should. Worked on it for an hour after my kids gave up and still could not get it work properly. I’m always the one who puts together and builds the toys but this was terrible. For the money it’s not worth it!

Great for kids who like mechanics
My 6-year-old nephew loved this gift for Christmas. I found the instructions for the different kinds of configurations to be confusing, but he has a more mechanically-inclined mind than I do. Of course, he also enjoyed eating the gumballs! This is a good gift for a smart kid who likes to build things and is interested in how things are constructed.

Super fragile
The product concept is good, but it’s just too wobbly, too many pieces and fragile. Can’t really move it around.

Disappointing
This was at the top of my 6 year old’s Christmas list and she was thrilled to get it! Until we opened it. It was too difficult for her to assemble on her own. Her father and I struggled to assemble it together, so I don’t know how a kid is supposed to do it. Even after we got it together the gum balls do not roll down the way they’re supposed to and just end up all over the place. I guess chasing them across the floor could be fun for a kid.It leaves gum ball crumbs all over the area where it’s used and there isn’t a top to it, so your gum balls are open to collecting dust and whatever else might be flying around in the air.Seriously over priced. I wish I’d just gotten a $5 gum ball machine from Walmart and saved my money.
