Excellent for frothing milk
Nice beaker just the right size for a single latte or 2 cappuccinos. Good quality glass and handy handle that doesn’t get hot in the microwave.

My all around go to glass
It's made of a special material, not crystal, not regular glass. It's borosilicate glass, much tougher than regular glass or crystal, and lighter as well.I warm my coffee up in the microwave, & the coffee gets warm, not the cup. I like that. It's my go-to cup. Pour in some boiling hot soup on a cold day. It won't shatter like glass and it won't get as hot as glass. Like Pyrex at 20% of the weight. Just feels good in my hand. But maybe that's just me.

Bought to heat milk in my microwave
I needed a pitcher with a pouring lip for hot milk. This borosilicate lab pitcher is perfect - and cheaper than some others that didn't have lab markings. This little container is very light, crystal clear, and just unexpectedly nice.

Lightweight and Practical
I was so pleased to find a scientific beaker with a handle to use as a teacup. After having shoulder surgery, I found my usual ceramic teacup too heavy to hold. This is much lighter and I love the fact that it's a piece of science apparatus. I'm having fun with it...and able to enjoy my morning cuppa without causing myself pain by lifting something too heavy for me at the present time.

Great for pour over coffee (Chemex)
Simply perfect for pour over coffee (Chemex in my case) - ergonomic, light and sturdy.1) Preheat the filter with boiling water, swirl the water around to preheat the Chemex2) Place 36 grams of freshly ground medium-coarse high quality coffee in the filter.3) Pour 200 ml of boiling water into the beaker - the temp of the water will drop to perfect ~200F coffee brewing temperature.4) Let the grounds bloom for 30-45 seconds.5) Pour the remaining 400 ml of water from the beaker slowly over the beans ensuring that the wet beans on the side of the Chemex are also participating in the brewing process.6) Enjoy your coffee!

Measurements are off!
I use this to pour oils and the 1/2 cup mark looked off, but I wasnt quite sure. I decided to test it out and found out it's way off. Had to re-do all my oils and figure out how much of my other oils to add. Such a waste of money cuz I'm past my return window. Other markings were accurate somehow... 2 half cups got me to 1 cup and 3 half cups got me to 1.5 cups.
