Quit putting it off and just buy these already!
We were broken into twice in June 2022. We’d been talking about getting cameras as there are condos going up across from our home which brings lots of new faces on our street. After we were robbed, I went on a deep dive into the home cameras and ended up with 2 brands. Turns out we’re keeping both, and here’s what we loved about these:• Night vision is crystal clear. Even after washing the carport and forgetting to clean off the lenses, you could still see perfectly.• Installation was a breeze• There is a circle of LED lights surrounding the cameras that can be set to strobe briefly when motion is detected. My main goal in purchasing cameras wasn’t to CATCH someone, but DETER them. (Plus it scares the vermin that mess with my plants at night 😇) .• They also have an 🚨 alarm 🚨 sound you can manually set which is an added layer of ‘get-the-F-off-my-property-before-I release-the-sharks with-lasers-on-their-heads’.**{you can’t set this feature for certain days/times, only manually, which is room for improvement that will surely be added at some point}**• Multiple users in the house have access to the cameras/live feed/alerts/mic etc🔸 things to consider 🔸~ these aren’t wired, so eventually they will have to be charged. If you wanted cameras outside/away from electrical things that would need an electrical engineer to wire in a whole ass security system and for renters, this is actually a much easier system.~ it uses recognition software to start detecting regular faces/vehicles. It will still alert you of their presence, but will indicate familiars with emoticons.~ you can zoom in on the cameras but not rotate them. Mount them lower than you originally think so faces are clear even if someone is wearing a hat.~ Like ALL of the home cameras on the market, keep in mind this is not a replacement for HOME SECURITY SYSTEMS. It’s meant to deter and be eyes/ears for your home, not partner with your local first responders/911•• The Ring cameras have a neighborhood community that keeps you posted on break-ins etc, but here’s why I don’t care- that’s only for people with Ring Cameras, and doesn’t include all actual criminal incidents. My neighbor’s didn’t announce our break-in to the neighborhood so what’s the point other than more unnecessary anxiety. I want MY home and family safer and if you’re reading this, you do too. I already know there’s shady shitbags out there, and thanks to these cameras, they will know we can see them & will hopefully move on or get some Jesus or jail time or something.🟨BOTTOM LINE!! 🟨We love these. Excellent value, camera quality and overall very happy after having them installed for over a month. Just buy Dzees because sharks are endangered and lasers are expensive.

Great. Sd card slot. May not work.
I really like this security camera. It does everything it's supposed to do. Except could not get the SD card to snap in. I would order another one. That's why I gave it a 4 star.

EXCELLENT!!!
I complain about literally everything… I thought that because these were so cheap, they would be bad quality, hard to use, and bad video quality. WOW, I was so surprised. I own 4 now and will buy more!-Video quality is excellent, both night time and day time. Records and saves videos for a lengthy period of time.-WiFi range is great, the photo in my review is in my backyard, over 200 feet away from the modem in the bedroom.-I forgot they were water resistant so I panicked when I left them out in a heavy rain UNCOVERED. I expected them to be ruined the next day but NOPE, they worked as normal!-They can rotate to the angle you want, of course, or be set on a stand. I’ve had them in many different spots, no problems.-Battery life is great. I have all of mine on high sensitivity and they all go off all night. I only have to charge mine every month (or sometimes longer) for maybe an hour.-My favorite function about this camera is that everything is operated through your phone and you can schedule for it to sleep any hours of the day, and turn it on and off on your phone.Customer service immediately helped me when I had a charging issue and it was solved right away. I am shocked that I’ve yet to find a flaw with the cameras or the company.A+++++ very impressed.

Useless for outdoor monitoring or as indoor security camera
I am a career software engineer for a major telco. The hardware on the camera is great. The wifi range is excellent. Image quality in SD mode is excellent. The App looks great in their listing, but the software is buggy and makes the camera useless.1. The camera records EVERYTHING, not just things I am interested in. If I tell it I am not interested in passing cars, pets or false triggers do to lighting changes, it should not write or keep a file. Monitoring my front yard, it records at least 10-12 videos per hour. Who has the time to watch these useless videos all day????2. The AI defeats the purpose of monitoring an area. It does not start recording until it has identified an object (it has to see the whole person before recording). A person has to be 10-15 feet into the visible (protected) area before it starts recording. We have had problems with vandalism at the front of our back yard, so it fails to trap that. There is NO way to turn the AI off,. It cannot everything before and object is identified (no prebuffering). It should ONLY record things I am interested in.3. If the AI decides to record something, it should delete the file if the content does not match the criteria I am interested in within the field of vision or the protected area defined in the more expensive plans.4. It false triggers when sunlight changes brightness due to clouds going by.5. Night vision range is very poor. I have to be within 12 feet of the camera at night before it triggers.6. Every time it records something, it places a notification count on the icon that is inaudible. They should go away when I watch the video, and should go away when I delete videos. But they stay on the screen icon and my phone blinks all day long.7. When videos are deleted, the list of videos should refresh. It does not. And it does not show new videos in real time. The only way to see new videos is to exit the app and restart it.8. NO AUDIO ALERTS: There is NO AUDIO ALERT functionality to notify me major events such a package delivered, stolen, or break-in (if using the camera to protect the home interior). This is a showstopping software design failure. There should be system audio alerts (play a .wav file) even when phone is in silent or DND mode) to flag major events requiring immediate handling. I should be able to define the files and use sounds I want (like custom ring sounds when people call).9. I considered keeping these and using them to monitor a couple of rooms in case of a break-in. Since there is NO audio alert functionality so I can call the police immediately, fire the alarm on the camera, and talk to the crooks, the changes I will know about a break-in until after they got away are zero. All I can get is a flashing green light on my phone.About the only thing these could be useful for is handicapped people to talk to people who show up at the front door -- assuming they are watching their phone all day.I returned them for refund. I am not going to spend all day watching 10-12 videos per hour of everything that happens in front of my house.
