At last, an LED replacement that will work without bypassing the ballast.
The canned lights in our kitchen area are florescent and have the accompanying ballast, along with the gx24q-3 base. All the LED lights I'd been looking at before required the ballast to be by-passed, which for our installation would have been challenging. Instead, with these lights, I was able to plug and play. Popped the lamp in place and we are in business.There is a warning that these have to have a compatible ballast, but ours did fine. I also chose the warmer color so it gives a rather soothing light.

Easy and bright
Super easy swap, and very bright. A little pricey, but I think they'll pay for themselves in about a year since mainly used in the kitchen.

Good fit replacement for TFL
So far, so good. Fit was as expected.Another brand didn't last very long and had to be replaced often ... not after 40,000 hours as advertised.We'll see if these hold up.

Perfect
This bulbs changed my room! I am so regretful that I did not search this earlier. I had old CFL bulbs in my kitchen. They cannot light up immediately. And this Philips LED bulbs are life saver! Very bright and just plug and go! No need to bypass! I love them!

So far so good, looks great quality natural light, quite bright. This is true plug and play, no need to take out ballast or any modification.

This LED is what we've been waiting for !
11 years ago when we moved in to our 1 year old house the builder had installed around 60 4-pin fluorescent bulbs which are yellow and have about a 4 minute warm up time.We're so EXCITED to find these bright whhite (4000k) LED direct replacements. These are so easy to install (the hardest part was removing the old crappy CFL bulbs). These bulbs are instant ON and bring a new LIFEF to our house.Thank you thank you! (just placed an order for more....)
