API Pondcare Algaefix Alage Control, 32-Ounce (Pack of 2)

I've used a couple of different algae control products and this is the one I keep coming back to. It's easy to use, mixing wise, and takes very little to be effective. It works well on algae blooms as well as normal growth.

So glad o found this. Wow, it really works after a few treatments. My pond isn’t big at under 200gls and sits in the sun all day so you know it was being killed with green algae. I was getting frustrated as this was my first season having a koi pond and really didn’t have a clue how to fight back till I found this product. Not gonna lie, I didn’t trust any of the reviews but try for yourself and see. I still wanna see how it does the second go around after winter is over. My water is so clear now going into the cool season that now I’m scared my koi have little to hiding spots after the plants die off. Time for netting protection I guess. Great product, still in shock at how good it cleaned this mess up. I wish I took pictures for you guys.

Works! Like many other reviews, make sure to have a lot of aeration for your fishes. Mine are fine, but they became very lethargic. I have a babbling brook, two waterfalls, and a 2” line that is raised to dump recirculated water back into the pond, and its still not enough oxygen for my fishes it seems. No more string algae though.

I have 2 ponds that I need to treat in the spring. The smaller pond cleared up in just 1 day. The larger one has more day time sun so it took weeks of treatment. Now both are very clear and only need a preventive care. Very happy with this product and by the way API Pondcare is located in south east PA (American made)

Koi pond, keeps water clean

I have used this for a while. It's works great

takes a while to clear the pond and had to do more than one application, but its a big pond.

I did some research about the algae problem we had in our small backyard koi pond and prices on solutions and settled on this after trying a Lowes product that didn't ultimately work without buying more of their expensive product.I followed the directions on this bottle after accurately calculating the volume of our pond. It took about 3 weeks and one whole bottle but I do notice a big difference. I'll probably be breaking into the second one but for now I'll let it rest since I can finally see the bottom a bit after going the whole summer with it murky and green. Didn't lose any fish, even the smaller ones and frogs did fine.This product is legit.
